Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 15:48, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Will add the other required disclosure. COI. I will happily change my username if that is also required.Summitcunc (talk) 16:19, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No response to below, no new username proposed, in six days. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:23, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Will add the other required disclosure, once unblocked. New Username: liztmark8210. Reason - we wanted a page of our credit union on Wikipedia. Thought all guidelines were met with the COI distinction. Will review the article again and try to find more sources.

Decline reason:

I am closing this request as stale; after over a month there does not seem to be anyone willing to unblock you based on this request. This is a very soft close, and you are free to make a new request. I would submit that you are more likely to get unblocked if you agree to refrain from editing about your credit union for a least a time, until you show us by editing in other areas that you understand relevant Wikipedia policies. 331dot (talk) 09:30, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see you had declared a COI, you will need to make the stricter paid editing disclosure, a Terms of Use requirement. 331dot (talk) 15:51, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I did declare it as I was researching this prior to submission. I will happily add that as a disclosure. Is there a way to be unblocked? Or do I need to submit an actual request? Summitcunc (talk) 15:57, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please propose a new username as instructed. You will also need to speak to the fact that your draft was blatant promotion. Wikipedia is not interested in what an article subject says about itself, but in what independent reliable sources choose to say about it. 331dot (talk) 21:49, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

The page Draft:Summit Credit Union of North Carolina has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 15:49, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am following-up on my second unblock request. Thank you for your consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Summitcunc (talkcontribs)

Your request is open and pending. It will eventually be reviewed by a volunteer when they have time to do it. Please continue to be patient. 331dot (talk) 22:06, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the update! Summitcunc (talk) 22:10, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you are employed by Summit Credit Union, then your existing {{UserboxCOI}} disclosure on your userpage is insufficient. You will have to change that to the {{paid}} template to explicitly indicate that you are compensated by this business. Please note that you do not have to be paid specifically to edit Wikipedia; merely being employed by this business is enough to trigger the mandatory paid editing disclosure policy. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:08, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
