A tag has been placed on West Bengal Legislative Assembly by-elections (17th Session) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It appears this team meets notability requirements due to participating in the "national cup" as per here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Notability — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevinw33 (talkcontribs) 15:21, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Kevinw33:, your message is received. Please look into [1] thoroughly for that. Also if you still have problems refer to WP:Teahouse for advance information on improving your article. Best Wishes. Jyoti Roy (talk) 15:33, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TTP1233: Can you tell me the difference between the notability link you provided and the one I did? I am very new to editing on Wiki and get confused easily. Appalachian FC and North Alabama SC have both been approved recently and are the same level as my submission, we are in the same league, are you able to tell what they did differently to get approved?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevinw33 (talkcontribs)
@Kevinw33:, see these articles was created directly. It means it was created without using WP:Article Wizard, which is a part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation. These articles is approved by patrolled member who mark these pages as autopatrol. Therefore it is so easy to be approved. You can do this method as well if you wish. Only if you have 10 edits and 4 days since you beginning of first edit. Otherwise it is mandatory to make article s in this method. Even most of the members has used in AfC mode, it is recommended to use AfC. After this it is your choice to decide which one is suitable for you. I hope you have got your answer.--Jyoti Roy (talk) 18:17, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging pages for speedy deletion[edit]

Hello, TTP1233,

If you are going to be tagging pages for speedy deletion, please be sure you know the CSD criteria, backwards and forwards.

For example, G1 is for "incoherent text or gibberish"...so, "nonsense" maybe isn't the best term for it. If you can understand the English words used in sentences, it can't be tagged as CSD G1. G1 is for pages that have "lkdsjdien!iii***(-e;smlpoop" on them...true gibberish. Drafts that have, "Jim is my boyfriend and he is an astronaut and went to space last week", while nonsense, is not incoherent or gibberish, that is just a bad draft and, for better or worse, there is no CSD criteria for pages with lame content. Typically, the page creators who make drafts like this never return to edit them and these pages are deleted after six months as CSD G13 stale drafts. Every day, there are anywhere from 180-300 stale drafts that get deleted, 95% of them are drafts just like this. So, feel free to tag pages that fit the agreed upon CSD criteria and, in draft space, don't worry about the rejected ones unless they are advertising/promotional or have copyright violations because they have a limited shelf life unless another editor sees promise in them and tries to turn them into real articles. Thank you for your work. Liz Read! Talk! 06:15, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Liz: Ma'am thank you for your kind advice. I will keep this remember next time.

Jyoti Roy (talk) 06:18, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you do a bad move, like Template:Template 2021-22 Ivy League men's basketball standings, please tag the incorrect page for deletion so admins can take care of it. Thanks. Liz Read! Talk! 05:00, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok @Liz: Ma'am I will keep a note of it.--Jyoti Roy (talk) 08:43, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 10:32:36, 19 October 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Adamsimpson1998[edit]

Hello, my article for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice has been declined twice now due to an issue with my citations/sources. I'm wondering why the article doesn't meet the minimum standard for inline citations (I have read the guidance and believe I have done everything properly). Most of all, you state my sources aren't reliable enough - despite me using sources from the BBC, Yorkshire Evening Post, Examiner Live, The Mirror, Charity commission, CQC - all of which are established, trusted news outlets and government bodies. I have looked at the Wikipedia page for Martin House Hospice, which is another local children's hospice, and I am confused how that page was approved and not mine? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_House_Hospice - As you can see - Martin House's page uses only 4 sources, one of which is its own website? I have spent a long time finding good sources that prove Forget Me Not is worthy of a Wikipedia article. We are even mentioned on the Wikipedia article for HRH Princess Beatrice (who is the charity's royal patron) - which I would think is proof in itself that Forget Me Not are relevant enough to be approved?

I appreciate your help with this article. Please could you provide a more detailed explanation as to why you have declined my submission? (Where specifically have I used footnotes wrongly? And which specific sources do you feel aren't reliable enough? I am keen to get this article approved - so please give me as much specific feedback as you can!

Thank you for all your help.

First of all @Adamsimpson1998:, you citing pattern is incorrect. You have to learn these small basic things. To know this more, I would suggest to talk to @Hatchens:. He is much more experienced. You can take a advice from him. Although I am busy for now. Therefore, I didn't get time to connect with. Thank you Jyoti Roy (talk) 10:37, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Luis Fitch[edit]

Hi TTP1233, you recently declined the article about artist Luis Fitch I have been editing due to lack of sources. I am wondering if you could be more specific about what part you feel lack sourcing? I received this comment when I first submitted the article, and have since spent time building the citations list up to 15 sources. If you could provide me with more specific feedback that would be greatly helpful. Thank you.--Anitnepres (talk) 17:33, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Anitnepres:, I'm busy at the moment. I will reply you after few hours. Please have patience. Thanks,--Jyoti Roy (talk) 04:41, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Thank you for your response.--Anitnepres (talk) 14:04, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, have you had a chance to look over the submission to let me know what needs to be edited? --Anitnepres (talk) 20:07, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I have checked. Porter, Matthew.”UNO Minneapolis, Frozen or on the Rocks.” STEP Inside Design, January, 2006. Indeed to say that the link is not available there. And some are not primary. Find more resources which are 1. Reliable 2. Primary (also secondary) sources 3. Independent or neutral 4. Non-commercial You see the main reason and click reference for beginners. You will get more about it. Jyoti Roy (talk) 07:13, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
