MfD nomination of User:Talio Mirisha

[edit]

User:Talio Mirisha, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Talio Mirisha and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Talio Mirisha during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.

The point is that (though this is not clearly explained to new users) Wikipedia is not a place like Myspace or Facebook for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles (see also WP:MUSICBIO), and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. User pages are for the contributors to the encyclopedia to present information relevant to their work here: they are not for pages that look like articles, or any substantial content... that is unrelated to Wikipedia.
