Neurology[edit]

Hi Telepatty -- I don't see any justification for your edits, and I am going to revert them for now. If you can explain why you are removing material, and why you believe that neurologists cannot perform surgery, please do so at Talk:Neurology before making changes to the article. Una, at the time I wrote this I was quite open to the possibility of the edits being valid, I just thought they needed more justification. Telepatty went on to edit a dozen more articles in similarly questionable ways, all marked as minor and without edit summaries. Multiple editors have reverted them and warned about their problems. Yet still Telepatty has not responded here in any way whatsoever. I'm not writing off this editor as a lost cause, but we must see some sort of response. (By the way, I know that neurologists hardly ever perform surgery, but I'm not aware of any global rule that says they can't, as Telepatty wrote.) Looie496 (talk) 17:07, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are modifying articles ia a negative way, without meaningful reason and to their detriment. If you have medical knowledge, please write new articles on topics not yet covered in the encyclopedia. If you do not, please leave the editing of medical articles to thoxe who do. Further to my previous comment; reviewing some of your earlier edits makes it quite clear that you do in fact not have a medical qualification or expertise. Life Imprisonment (Croatia)[edit]

Life imprisonment in Croatia is legal. Since the abolition of the death penalty, the maximum penalty became life imprisonment. In the 1990s, the punishment was replaced with 20 years imprisonment. It was later reinstated. When someone is sentenced to life imprisonment, they can apply for parole in 20 years to the criminal court they were tried by. This court reviews the parole and grants or denies parole. If an offender is denied parole, they can reapply every 3 years. In certain serious cases, one can be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. Inmates connected with terrorism or mafia associations or are considered a threat to other offenders or themeselves can be sentenced to serve between 6 months and 3 years in solitary confinement. There may also be requests for one to remain in solitary confinement throughout their enitre sentence. For offenders under the age of 16, the maximum penalty is 20 years imprisonment with parole eligablity in 13 years.
