Saint Astvatsatsin Church (Ramis) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Saint Astvatsatsin Church (Ramis), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Church of Yukhari Aza moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Church of Yukhari Aza, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. (?) Ways to improve St. Hripsime Church (Kultepe)
[edit]Hello, TerraCaucasus,
Thank you for creating St. Hripsime Church (Kultepe).
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Thank you for creating this article on an historic Armenian church. Unfortunately, the article does not seem to establish sufficient notability for the building WP:NBUILDING in its current form.
It seems that the main source you rely on is a report titled Silent Erasure: A Satellite Investigation of the Destruction of Armenian Heritage in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan from 2022, which lists over one hundred destroyed buildings considered to be part of Armenian historic heritage in Azerbaijan and discussed as evidence of wider "cultural" erasure. That in and of itself does not constitute in-depth coverage required to satisfy notability criteria. Moreover, the page numbers do not correspond to the publication which has a total of 219 pages, according to the document you link.
Is there anything particularly notable about this church that makes its inclusion notable when compared to the rest of the buildings listed in the report? If so, please address that clearly in the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Ppt91}}

- Hello @Ppt91,
- If you look closely, you would see that the number of pages of the document is 2x219 because the document is in two-page view mode. I hope your understanding of the importance of the monument is not similar to your very quick and hasty overview of the number of pages of the document. I suggest you have a look at the relevant page of the document for the monument's importance.
- Best

- @TerraCaucasus First, I'd encourage you to abide by WP:EQ and engage in the review process assuming good faith. You and I have the same goal, which is to ensure the notability and high quality of published articles. There is nothing to be gained from being dismissive of my efforts.
- Perhaps there was a misunderstanding: the page numbering (which I now see clearly and which for some odd reason must have displayed wrong on my end) was a minor issue relative to the question of notability, which relies on the same content, i.e. a few short paragraphs of a similar length to other buildings covered in the report. Is your goal to create a separate page for each one of them? Or are you selecting specific buildings that are of more historical significance relative to the broader issue of cultural erasure in this case? Either way, more explanation of WP:NBUILD is warranted.
- These are valid questions that I would expect a serious editor to address without implying I am rushing through the process. That is especially the case given that another church mentioned in the publication had previously been moved to draftspace (referenced pp. 188â191 of what appears to be the same publication), and the rationale behind the notability of each of remaining buildings is not obvious. Feedback on new articles
[edit]Hello TerraCaucus. I'm MarioGom, a new page reviewer. I'm currently reviewing various of your creations, and I hope I can give you some feedback about them soon. Here are the first things that I noticed:
- While it's not mandatory, you'll help the discoverability of your pages, and avoid work for others, if you add WikiProject tags to the talk pages. You can see an example here. There is a user script that makes it easier to add them at User:Evad37/rater.
- Please, avoid duplicating references, and add the {{reflist}} template to the references section. Example here.
This is something you can apply to any article creations on any topic. Next, I'll be looking into the notability of your creations of former or ruined Churches. Feel free to contact me if you have any doubt. Best, MarioGom (talk) 10:50, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @MarioGom,
