(talk) 11:43, 19 July 2012 (UTC) Vodafone[edit]I noticed your comment at Talk:Vodafone which compared Vodafone's logo with part of the logo for the KKK. I hope you don't mind, but I have removed the comment because talk pages should only be used to discuss the improvement of the article. It is not appropriate to introduce speculation about coincidences of appearance between parts of different images. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2011 in science until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion. You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. A tag has been placed on 2011 in science requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding Hi, I've been working on the Hugo Award articles for the last 9 months, getting 9 of them to be Featured Lists. I noticed that you created Retro Hugos- I left a comment on the talk page, but I figured that I'd talk here too. I really fail to see the point of this page- it's just a duplicate of information presented elsewhere. Each award page (novels, novellas, etc.) has it's own retro hugos listed. We don't combine the regular awards by year; why would we combine the retro hugos by year? In fact, all you've done is copy the tables out of those articles and pasted them here- where's the added value of this page? --PresN 07:03, 17 December 2010 (UTC) WikiProject Dacia[edit]Bună! I've been working to set up the WikiProject Dacia to organize better the articles about Dacia and improve their quality. We need help expanding and reviewing many articles, and we also need more images. Maybe you find it interesting and wish to join. Thanks and best regards! --Codrin.B (talk) 22:39, 13 January 2011 (UTC) Linking to ro: inside doc page please[edit]Hey, I noticed you added links to Romanian language versions of various templates. Please put those in the documentation of the template instead of in the template itself. I've already done this for {{InternalLink}} -> {{InternalLink/doc}} to show what I mean. I would appreciate it if you could fix the other changes you made. Thanks! — SkyLined (talk) 19:10, 20 April 2011 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Păcală[edit]
A tag has been placed on Păcală requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. →Στc. 05:20, 24 September 2011 (UTC) Hi Terraflorin, you recently removed a deletion tag from Păcală. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 05:24, 24 September 2011 (UTC) Tintin and Snowy picture[edit]Do you know anything more about that Tintin and Snow picture you just added to the Adventures of Tintin article? It looks like it's a picture of (life-sized?) statues - it would be useful to know where/when/why they exist, otherwise the pic raises more questions than it answers. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 14:48, 8 November 2011 (UTC) Alexander John Cuza vs Alexandru Ioan Cuza[edit]Please can you say your option about Alexander John Cuza vs Alexandru Ioan Cuza at Talk:Alexander_John_Cuza#Requested_move. -- Thanks, Saturnian (talk) 15:40, 2 December 2011 (UTC) Discussion you should be aware of[edit]See WP:FTN#Gold artifacts with wings. But it's probably too soon for another AfD; there's enough people determined to have it still exist that will descend and spam the AfD that neutral editors will never be heard, and they'll all cry "Speedy Keep! It's notable! Too soon! We don't care about all the policies it violates! We make up our own bullshit interpretations of policy!" 86.** IP (talk) 20:16, 15 April 2012 (UTC) WikiProject Plants Collaboration of the month[edit]I'm attempting to revive the Plant article COTM, and since you're a member of WikiProject Plants, you're being notified about this hopeful revival. SIA project![edit]Hey Terraflorin! So happy that you came by the Smithsonian Institution Archives project and signed up to participate! We've got a great list of subjects that need to be improved upon or written about. I do hope you'll visit the to-do list and dive in - do let me know if you need anything. And of course, your contributions can earn you the official oh so fancy SIA barnstar :) Thanks again! So happy to have you on board! Dahn (talk) 08:56, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Neeson and Islam[edit]Regarding this edit, I just want to clarify that there is no direct quote in the article for the claim made. What we have is a headline that interprets (incorrectly in my view) a number of reported statements, none of which explicitly state that Neeson has considered renouncing his faith for another. He has reportedly expressed an interest in, and respect for, Islam. Nothing more. We need to be careful when using The Sun as a source. It has been discussed before in that context. Best. RashersTierney Nomination of Jerusalem Dome of the Rock UFO incident for deletion[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Jerusalem Dome of the Rock UFO incident is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jerusalem Dome of the Rock UFO incident until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Nemexia Evolution requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag.
