Hello TheSwami, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Viriditas | Talk 02:31, 22 July 2005 (UTC)

Three Laws of Robotics[edit]

Hey, I'm thinking about doing a Spoken Audio File for the three laws of robitics article. Are you still on that, or might I go ahead and give it a shot? -- Brinticus 20:56 06 August 2006 (CST)

I also would be more than happy to contribute a Spoken Audio File for the Three Laws page. Considering that you originally expressed interest back in February 2006, I'm going to assume that you are no longer working on it and will request in the Talk:Three Laws of Robotics that the message indicating that you are working on it be removed so that I might take your place if there are no objections. If you are indeed working on it, please let me know and I'll move on to another article =) Aaronomus (talk) 16:38, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Need more Theatrical Technicians[edit]

Good to see another techie has joined WP and can help us out with technical theatre-related articles. BTW, making new UBX for us:

Source Four ERS.jpg This user does something related to technical theatre and is probably a theatrical technican Techie

Trying to get a better picture for it. --KeepOnTruckin 21:55, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Your changes to the CVU article are as pointless as what you deleted.[edit]

I was disappointed in the changes that you made to the CVU wiki article. A cursory glance at the article shows that it doesn't have much or any substantial information about CVUHS. If you're going to make arm chair "improvements" to it you might as well delete the entire thing except the link to www.cvuhs.org. Instead you went ahead and self righteously deleted the only thing that made the whole page worth reading. I don't know why, you probably thought you were doing a service to wikipedia. It must be a really dull world where they don't have humor = (. I'm not looking to start an "edit war" with you over this, so I'm asking you to voluntarily return the CVU article to it's version before you changed it. Thanks!

    • (Originally Posted on Sir Smith's Talk Page) I also am confused... the three statements I removed consisted of (verbatim): "QUITE POSSIBLY ONE OF THE STRANGEST SCHOOLS IN VERMONT" (which is highly NPOV), "EAT THE BABIES" (which is inappropriate and nonsensical), and Kablammo's aforementioned comment about the school song consisting of eating babies, raping, etc. You commented on the fact that if I was "going to make armchair improvements," I might as well delete the entire article except the link to the school's website, and that I had in fact deleted the only part of the article worth reading. While I'm not sure which of the above edits you are referring to, none of them contained any content (with the possible exception of the last, see Kablammo, above). Wikipedia is not based on entertainment value, but on factual content. Also, when possible, comments to users should be left on their Talk page, not on their User page. Replaceable fair use Image:Glachenko.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Glachenko.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 12:15, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of File:TwoPigWeights.PNG[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on File:TwoPigWeights.PNG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:File:TwoPigWeights.PNG|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
