There were two messages from you associated with changes I made to the Ronald Werner-Wilson entry. I am not sure why you identified something as plagerism of copyrighted materal. Are you referring to the biographical information? This is my first Wikipedia entry and I want to adhere to your policies, so I would appreciate clarification. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rjwern2 (talk • contribs) 05:13, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- The material I removed that was copied from http://www.ca.uky.edu/HES/index.php?p=177. ttonyb (talk) 05:20, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for the clarification about the material you considered to be plagerized. I hadn't realized that UK had copyrighted that material, but it is clearly marked in the small print at the bottom of the page. Again, I apologize for this error.
- I attempted to add in-line citations which was why I deleted the message associated with citations. It appears that all have been removed, even the ones that weren't associated with the Research section. Is it okay to add them back or was there another reason for their removal.
- I appreciate your patience. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rjwern2 (talk • contribs) 05:33, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Please note that recent material published after March 1, 1989 does not require a notification of copyright to be present on the material. If the material has not been published in the form you are using it is fair game. Ideas are not copyrighted, only the format in which they are presented. I added back the refs that I mistakenly removed, sorry for the overstep. ttonyb (talk) 05:45, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for providng further clarification. I will develop new material associated with Research and use in-line citations to corroborate. After I do that, will it acceptable for me to delete the message associated with the need for in-line references? Similarly, once I point other sites to this entry, do I have the authority to delete the note about orphans? I want to make sure that the work I contribute isn't considered vandalism, so I would appreciate clarification about these points.

Speedy deletion declined
I noticed you put some effort into improving the article S. Hari Singh before you decided to nominate it for speedy deletion. You're probably right that it's not notable, but we don't know for sure. The article asserts that Singh has "given immense contribution to the field of painting". We don't know if that's true or not, and if we delete it right away, we may never find out. An easy way to find out is have the author put some references in the article. The article therefore does not qualify for speedy deletion. — Sebastian 07:36, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

Removed prod from Butter Braid.
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Butter Braid, which you proposed for deletion, because I think that this article should not be deleted from Wikipedia. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! -- Atama頭 22:18, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

How do I get a copy of the article I created? I spent a few hours creating this. I ran out of time last night and I did copy some text from a website. Proposed deletion for "Yeval" and its author "C. W. Schultz"
Hello. Below is a copy/paste of my response to the proposed deletion for the article Yeval:
Keep The requirements from WP:NOTBOOK and Wikipedia:Notability this article has already met:
- This is not an advertisement
- The sources are verifiable
- I, the creator of the article, could have easily added my interpretations and an analysis, but avoided it. Everything included in this article is fact.
- Many on the internet (a simple Google search will turn up numerous results) have commented on the book's content. The book is obviously gathering talk among literature forums and groups. This is more than just "an indiscriminate collection of information", being that there's more in this article besides just a plot-only description. This can arguably qualify as notable to those in certain "programs" and/or during a particular "event".
- This book was published in 2007, so Wikipedia being use as a "crystal ball" shouldn't be a problem.
Concerning the author, if this book indeed qualifies, why isn't the author? Is he not notable for writing something notable?
Thank you for reading. Hopefully we can find a way to improve the article(s). Geeky Randy (talk) 05:43, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- The book appears to fail item #1 of WP:NB. Wikipedia notability is based on Wikipedia criteria, please read WP:BIO for that criteria. Unfortunately being an author is not part of the criteria. ttonyb (talk) 05:47, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

- My pleasure. You did confuse me a bit on the birth date. BTW - nice work on the article. ttonyb (talk) 03:45, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
I have an inquiry out on the birthdate already. I will post it as soon as I get it. Botendaddy (talk) 04:01, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
And just what's wrong with it? A "book war" can be termed as a war on books, which is what "book burning" is, I've talked to people who call the book "Farenheit 451" the book war novel, and "Library War" can easily be confused with book war. Why do you constitute that as vandalism??? 76.66.197.30 (talk) 15:03, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Why is this a level-2 warning, since there's no level-1 on my talk page? 76.66.197.30 (talk) 15:06, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Simply put there is no way a made up, non-notable game will be confused with those topics. Please do not add the text back in. Thanks... ttonyb (talk) 15:08, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- It's not the made up game that's possiible to be confused with, it's the "term" book war which is why it's the {{confused}} template I used, and the hatnote format. 76.66.197.30 (talk) 15:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- You should note I did not object to deleting the article, but if it exists, disambiguation should exist as well. 76.66.197.30 (talk) 15:16, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- So why is it a level-2? 76.66.197.30 (talk) 15:16, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Because you intentionally replaced something that was obliviously not related to the substance of the article. Is there a reason you do not have a registered account? ttonyb (talk) 15:21, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- It is not supposed to be related to the article that's why it's a hatnote disambiguation, like we have for many articles. If it were related to the article, I would have put it into the text of the article, or in a see also section. It is not part of the article, per se, it is part of the top material for redirecting users to other topics that they would be looking for with this term, just like a disambiguation page.
- As for registering for an account, why would I register for an account? 76.66.197.30 (talk) 15:29, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I understand the purpose of hatnote disambiguation; however, the topics would not be associated with a made up, non-notable game, nor would someone looking for Fahrenheit 451 look for book wars. F451 is not about "book wars" but about censorship and book burning, among other unrelated topics . "Book wars" is not the same as censorship or book burning and is not even a remotely associated term. ttonyb (talk) 15:51, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Censorship of books have been described as a book war or a war on books many many times: [3] [4] (separated by over 100 years, those two) (book war) ; and what about Library War, that's not confusable with "book war" (the term, obviously not the thing in the article)? - if you take that "book war" and "war on books" are equivalencies: [5] [6] ; so a serch for "book war" is quite possibly a search for censorship of books. Where are the book censorship articles? censorship and book burning are two. 76.66.197.30 (talk) 16:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- If you feel there is a real danger of this article being seen as those items you identified ,then knock yourself out. ttonyb (talk) 16:25, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Apology accepted. No hard feelings. 76.66.197.30 (talk) 16:42, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

- It isn't clear _who_ I should ask to give me a copy of this page so I can improve the article? I think that you have a bit of an overinflated sense of self-importance - Neal Zaslavsky
How dare you claim that the article on Neal Zaslavsky is puffery. There are literally dozens of public record references (minutes of publicly noticed meetings of the City Council, EPAC Commission, local newspaper articles, quotations on CBS News nationally, etc.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by NealZaslavsky (talk • contribs) 05:30, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Your accusatory tone - Neal Zaslavsky
Perhaps if certain editors would not use ad hominem attacks, e.g., accusations of puffery and the like, it would not be necessary to respond with an excited tone.
If you want to be helpful, offer constructive suggestions instead. Don't attack. If you provoke by attack, you will by nature be attacked in return. Most dogs don't bite without a reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NealZaslavsky (talk • contribs) 05:36, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- Sigh...Please read WP:CIVIL. The tags represent nothing personal only an attempt to improve the quality of Wikipedia articles. BTW - there were no "attacks against the person" so there was no ad hominem attack. ttonyb (talk) 05:39, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- You really have an over-inflated sense of self-importance. And yes, there were clearly attacks against the person. Accusing someone of puffery is clearly a personal attack. While in your pusillanimous little world, you clearly believe that you are always right and everyone else is wrong, take a long, hard look in the mirror. It ain't a pretty picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NealZaslavsky (talk • contribs) 05:57, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- Other than pointing out that I did not accuse anyone of puffery and that I have not attacked anyone here or on the article page, I will defer to his talk page contributions. ...sigh, again... ttonyb (talk) 15:20, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
lust for vengeance and hookers in revolt
Hey I'm kind of new to this so I want to make sure I follow the rules properly, maybe you can help me with a few things. What was wrong with the last plot I put in for Lust for Vengeance, I only used one line from allmovie as a reference to a outside source, most movies don't have any citations for plots at all. Also with both movies why are you putting up notability warnings, they are referenced on several other pages, they have citations, they have 7 links to other sites, they have been up for months prior to your flags, and they have thousands of links when they are googled, what is it exactly you think they need for these warnings and edits to stop, thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing back from you, I love this site and when I do add things and put new things up, I'd like to make sure I'm doing it the right way, thanks.Rogueonea (talk) 19:36, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the message and welcome. It looks like the whole section was a copy of existing copyrighted material. I found it on Rotten Tomatoes and on Amazon. An easy way to avoid the copyright issue is to rewrite the text. Something this short should not be too hard. The reason I have marked the films with notability tags is they do not appear to meet the criteria in WP:NOTFILM. References 2 and 5 in the article are the closest to meeting the criteria, but I am not sure they are natiionally known. Can you show that the film , "is widely distributed and has received full length reviews by two or more nationally known critics?" Let me know what I can do to help. Thanks... ttonyb (talk) 20:25, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
I rewrote the plots as to avoid copyright issues, as for national reviewers they have both been reviewed by DVD verdict and Mr. Skin which are two of the biggest sites that review direct-to-dvd movies and lust was reviewed by Dennis Schwartz whose a national reviewer that has his own website and his review for lust is also on rotten tomatoes and in addition he's a member of, The Online Film Critics Society. Let me know if this solves the issues, hopefully it does, if not please let me know what else I can do, thanks Rogueonea (talk) 21:38, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Richard Ringer Nominated For Deletion
ttonyb1, the description of "Richard Ringer" music and accomplishments,(including the Digital Media X award) is heavily based on Interviews in NYC with Harold Channer and are available from Channer's website and youtube. These links are cited. Harold Channer is a widely respected Talk Show host based in New York City, and has his own Wikipedia page as well. I assume you have not watched the full 57 minute interview, because your numerous nominations for deletion of this began less than 57 minutes after its release.
Some of your claims of not supporting importance are valid, such as the claim of being high on the worldwide icompositions chart. I have edited in a reference to an Internet Archive of the icompositions.com home page June 2, 2006 which validates this statement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Independent Music Source (talk • contribs) 22:01, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

- Unless the article meets the criteria in WP:COMPANY it will be deleted. ttonyb (talk) 19:46, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
- reliable: Reliability is what makes Nucleus go around. The Reliability of the company lies within every piece of published work. I could take off all of the external links to the company's websites. That way we are only putting information about the company.
- independent: All of are animations and images are put through rigorous tests to determine if they are of the best quality and accuracy.
- secondary sources: Secondary review is always done. Licensed Medical illustrators create the work and then a panel of licensed reviewers make sure that every detail is accounted for.
- Nucleus Medical Media does make a change in the world. It helps educate people about unknown effects of surgery and or other medical issues. There is no reason to advertise on Wikipedia. The reason to put this page here is to let poeple know what the standard of Medical Illustrations are and how Nucleus Medical Media meets those with every bit of information they put out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JKurz1 (talk • contribs) 20:29, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Greg Tseng Article
Hello Ttonyb1, I was working on making the article more neutral when my save was interrupted by your update. Please feel free to edit the article as well as Mr. Tseng is a well known figure and should have a worthwhile entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luitgard (talk • contribs)
- You may want to create the article in a User/sandbox and then upload it to the mainspace. ttonyb (talk) 20:16, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
- Hello Ttonyb1, Now it seems the article on Greg Tseng has attracted a someone who maybe a paid shill, or perhaps even Greg Tseng himself, seemly intent on making the article contain largely, perhaps near exclusively, praise. This editor going under the name Biographylover made the unsourced comment that the Controversy section should be placed last, "Following standard wikipedia biography practice for controversy placement". Is there any validity to that claim? I've read what I understand to be the relevant style guides and I'm not finding anything on that. Biographylover was willing to compromise when the subject of Astroturfing was broached, but Biographylover has never edited any other articles here on Wikipedia and Tseng has a long history of self-serving deception. Can you offer any guidance on the matter? Is recourse to the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard warranted? Check the Greg Tseng article discussion page for background if you'd like and please advise. Thanks & regards, Luitgard (talk) 05:15, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting situation...I have read the page discussion and am quite surprised of all the going back and forth. I am not saying it is bad. I can see how the added text would be considered as biased, but it might only be an attempt to provide a neutral viewpoint. I am assuming WP:GFE here. I did note that there was a bit of fluff added to the article. Some editors seem to think that they need to add everything they know about the subject; however, sometimes less is more. If you feel the article is biased, I would mark it with a POV tag and list your reasons in the talk page. If you are unable to come to a resolution, then taking it to the Noticeboard would probably be warranted. I'll keep an eye on the article to see how it progresses, or if you are feeling frustrated, feel free to give me a nudge here on my talk page. ttonyb (talk) 06:29, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
- Deepest thanks for your efforts and attention to the matter. The story is even more interesting than you might suspect. I'll try to interest the press in it as it would make great reading and thereby provide a good reference for the Tseng Wikipedia article as well. My chief concern for the moment is whether the Controversy section is indeed supposed to be the last item, and if so, why? Regards, Luitgard (talk) 06:41, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
- I do not think there is anything that specifically dictates that controversial items should be at the end of an article. If part or all of someone's notability is because of controversy I would assume the items should be discussed upfront, or at least alluded to in the introduction. In the case where notability is not determined by controversy is probably not a bad idea to move the section to the end and not lead with it. It probably makes for a better balanced article. ttonyb (talk) 15:25, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

In order to help insure the quality of articles, all articles need to follow the guidelines set up in Wikipedia and all are articles are subject to review. Any editor, including yourself, can review an article and make changes to it or in certain circumstances nominate it for deletion. We, as editors, do not tell anyone what can be on Wikipedia, we only point out those articles that do not meet the criteria for inclusion into Wikipedia. My best to you and please let me know if you have any more questions. ttonyb (talk) 01:00, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi Tony, can you help me?
I made an article about an interesting artist I whose work I saw in Portland OR, who has exhibited internationally. I even included references from a gallery in Berlin, external links to their website, affiliated projects etc....and you flagged it for not having notability. Can you help me out? This is my first wiki-contribution.
How can I make this right? I don't really understand what you think it's missing? I looked at many others of artists and they often only have links to galleries since most shows get reviewed on art blogs etc, and there-for most reviews are not wiki-appropriate (I think I am understanding that correctly).
Thanks kindly, S SandyPortland (talk) 04:45, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, SandyPortland, I assume you are talking about Natasha Wheat. The issue here is the article fails to establish Wikipedia defined notability for the artist. The individual has to meet one of the five criteria listed in that section. The references you have included do not amount to significant coverage of the subject. Also take a look at verifiability for some help on references. I have left you a message on your talk page with a number of links that should help you create a great article. If you have any questions, please let me know. ttonyb (talk) 05:35, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Hello again,
I like this, Wiki rules: "If a rule prevents you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia ignore it".
I also read the 5 pillars and through again and it seems that this qualifies for "People who are relatively unknown", as well as in the artist notability section under artists who have work in signifigant permanent collections. I followed the guidelines and left of personal info and info from blogs. I included references from a gallery (secondary source) website, artist website, and artist residency they exhibited at. I had to call the Museum after this exhibition to find out whose work was included, and was glad that the artist's gallery website had their showing at the MCA Chicago and contribution to the collection listed publicly on the internet, as museums don't list their collections publicly without inquiry. That is where an encyclopedia page would be helpful, and the reason wiki has inclusion in collections as published by a secondary source, listed as acceptable artist notability. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SandyPortland (talk • contribs) 08:37, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm declining your RFPP on 1994 because the activity level hasn't been terribly high. However, if it continues at the same level (3+ vandals per day), I'll protect it after perhaps ~5 more days of that level. It just isn't an immediate issue. Sound good? tedder (talk) 05:05, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

The article NeutraliseIT has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable product lacking GHit nad GNEWS support. ttonyb (talk) 05:11, 18 October 2009 (UTC) While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the Dated prod notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing Dated prod will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ttonyb (talk) 05:11, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Royal-T a YAA company
A tag has been placed on Royal-T a YAA company requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ttonyb (talk) 04:58, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
First of all sorry for deleting the tag initially. I didn't mean to but did it accidentally and then didn't know how to get it back.
Second, I left a message here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Royal-T_a_YAA_company
The site http://www.linkedin.com/companies/royal-t, is my own page and sources. Spillon (talk) 05:18, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, GHits = Google Hits and GNEWS = Google News hits. There does not seem to be enough independent, verifiable references to support the article. Published material is considered to be copyrighted. In order to use the material in Wikipedia you will need to donate copyrighted material to Wikipedia. Take a look at the section and let me know if you have any questions. ttonyb (talk) 05:21, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've looked there and think I understand. However I don't know what I have to do to rectify this problem and make sure this article does not get deleted. Could you please explain a step by step process that I would have to undergo in order to prevent this from being deleted, and prove that it is not a breach of copyright? I don't understand how it would be, since I created the page: http://www.linkedin.com/companies/royal-t. Could you please help and explain how it is a breach of copyright so that I may understand better? Spillon (talk) 06:19, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- There are three ways to get around this. The first is to rewrite the text, the second is to donate the copyrighted material to Wikipedia, the third is to provide a "copyleft" note on the original text. Again, see donate copyrighted material for the specifics. For specific instructions on the e-mail that needs to be sent to release the material to Wikipedia, see [12]. The short answer to how this is a breach of copyright laws is that there is no implied consent when dealing with copyrighted material, Wikipedia requires explicit consent. ttonyb (talk) 06:40, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- In addition, the articles don't appear to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. tedder (talk) 07:08, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Ttonyb1, look if that were the case then delete all the other sports related things on that day and other days. The D-Backs won the world series on that day against the Yankees. How is that not international? You might as well delete the Super Bowl winning Ravens against the Giants in January. International or not its something that happen that day for the first time ever, in fact it hasn't happened again. Please undo your change, unless you can elaborate more on your term of "international" since we still put domestic happenings on the page. Please and Thanks you.
(FREDMAN (talk) 20:11, 19 October 2009 (UTC)) Fredler Brave
- The world series is not a "world event", in spite of the name. If you wish to add it back in, please discuss it on the talk page prior to adding it to the main page. I will defer to the results of the discussion. Thanks... ttonyb (talk) 20:15, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
November 4 2001
Tony, look I'm not trying to be the bad guy here. Okay I don't understand why you delete my post. I never said anything about the "World Series" referring to International, I said that the Yankees who are well known around the globe, as you dubbed, International, shouldn't be deleted. Furthermore, why don't you delete the other sports happenings that happened on other dates. The Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl early that year, delete that, or all the other sports happenings from every other year. Those are the same thing, I put the other teams that played on that day who were bound to become champions at the end of the seasons to provide further proof of the (big four) playing on the same day.
Again let me repeat myself, this has never happened before in history, there has never been a day in history that all four professional sports leagues play on same day. I put it there as a productive note to everyone who reads wikipedia and stumbles upon it that it happened on that day and I'm not vandalizing the page, I'm not putting bad words or messing up the page with false information. If you dare to freeze my editing for vandalism I will let wikipedia know of your abuse with vandalism powers. If anyone is vandalizing here is you for deleting constructive information of events that happened on that day.
(FREDMAN (talk) 20:28, 19 October 2009 (UTC))
- Feel free to report my actions. I have moved the entry to the talk page to evoke discussion. If you insist on adding it back in to the page I will again mark your entry as vandalism since it does not meet the criteria for inclusion and are not waiting for community opinion. ttonyb (talk) 20:32, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sure the community would love to read that all four professional sports teams played on the same day for the first time ever. Look seriously tell me why you take it off. Internationally is a lame reason since it involved sports and sports is international affairs whether domestic or not. You also haven't responded to my response on the other sports teams on certain days being noted for their wins (like the Ravens winning the Super Bowl over the Giants earlier in 2001) why don't you delete that one? Tell me why it is you fell free to delete my post? Because you have more power than most? Why?
(FREDMAN (talk) 20:37, 19 October 2009 (UTC))
- So why are you being quiet all of a sudden on this discussion? I want to solve this asap. I feel that it needs to be on the page and you, the man with the power to freeze editing, is being silent. Please respond to my question! Thank you (FREDMAN (talk) 20:49, 19 October 2009 (UTC))
- Simple answer is that I had to rejoin the real world and leave Wikipedia. ttonyb (talk) 23:02, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Comment from talk-page stalker Tony, I wouldn't characterize Fredman's edits to be vandalism because they are not "made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia" (You also shouldn't be templating Fredman — he's been here for a while). He is, however, ignorant of the Wikipedia:Recent years policy. This is a contest dispute so I ask that both of you refrain from making further reverts on the article because you both are on the verge of violating WP:3RR.
Fredman, the information you added is unsourced trivia that does not belong on Wikipedia. You're right that the Ravens' Super Bowl win does not belong in that article, so feel free to remove it. Cunard (talk) 20:56, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Unsourced? I did my research on that and if you want you can do it yourself. I can't source it because It's based on multiple pages of sports schedules. Anyways this rare event is expected to happen again this year with the World Series at a later date. On November 1st and possibly November 2nd we will see not four but five (MLS, MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL) play on the same day and that's never happened before. I'm excluding pre-season contests for any of those leagues since they aren't meaningful games. However I feel this should be included for the purpose of the public so if you have any ideas as to where to put it, feel free to inform me. (FREDMAN (talk) 22:50, 21 October 2009 (UTC))
- If you have an issue with Cunard, please take it to his user page. Thanks... ttonyb (talk) 23:29, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- Combining multiple pages of sports schedules together to come to this conclusion violates Wikipedia:Synthesis; doing research but being unable to source it violates Wikipedia:Original research. Sorry, but this content is not suitable for Wikipedia. (Note to Tony: my apologies for continuing this discussion here; I like to keep discussions in one place. If you don't want the discussion to occur here, I'll move this thread to my talk page.) Cunard (talk) 05:14, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
- Cunard, no need to apologize. I understand you reason form keeping it here. I also assume there will be no need for further discussion. Thanks... ttonyb (talk) 06:33, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

I make this mistake myself sometimes, but it's usually a good idea to see if there is an active talk page for an article before automatically tagging it with a CSD tag. In the case of Jessica Foster, I put a note on the talk page that I had started a discussion at WP:ANI#Jessica Foster, in order to avoid WP:BITE in a delicate situation. Anyway, just thought I would pass on the message. Singularity42 (talk) 22:39, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

- No problem, it is a good start, however, it still lacks valid references. See WP:RS for information on what is acceptable for references. In general, the references need to be verifiable, third-party and independent. Unfortunately, blogs generally do not fall into this category. Has there been mainstream coverage? Has Wang won any awards? Having his blog interviewed by Seventeen magazine is really not notable. Has the blog been referenced in other media? WSJ, Times, SFGATE? Take a look at the sections and let me know if you have any questions. I'll also make sure you have a welcome message on your talk page, it has a number of great links on how to create a great article and also talks about what is needed to support an article. Again, if I can help, please let me know. ttonyb (talk) 04:54, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Does The Daily Pennsylvania article I linked to not count? This is a newspaper for the local area and covers his involvement as the head of the school's fashion competition. Also, I cited the research article that won him recognition in the world of academics and business retailing. The article was accepted by an Ivy league school's publication. The research article is also peer reviewed as well as reviewed by a board of professors at the school.
Also can you delete the "Tony wang" page, it should be Tony Wang? This page should be eliminated: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_wang

- References are used to support specific statements in an article. (i.e., XYZ won an award would be referenced by an inline reference to a newspaper article about the award ceremony.) These are links that do provide support, but are not used to specifically support inline items in the article. If you convert them to inline references they would be fine. hello, is there a conventional way to second an article for deletion or speedy deletion, like for example on the Sergio Ozaeta page. andyzweb (talk) 08:07, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Not that I am aware of, I believe the assumption is that only one a single editor needs to nominate an article for deletion review. You might want to mark it as a "Watched page" in case the reviewing admin declines the nomination (or if the tag is removed by someone else) and you feel the article should be PROD'd or AfD'd. My best to you... ttonyb (talk) 08:12, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Regarding ur proposal to delete article - Kapil Singh Sankhala
do a search on google search about the person, and then take an action...doing this is a very shameful thing for the person, who is notable and is shown by you as not notable... thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dalpatsuthar (talk • contribs) 04:53, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- The article fails the Wikipedia criteria for notability. The nomination is valid. ttonyb (talk) 04:56, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
