Hi Sandstein, I realized the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Taylor_Henry was recently deleted. In the aftermath, I have been doing lots of research about the journalist and his accomplishments, and believe he has been a huge inspiration to many, and should be honored with a Wikipedia entry.

As a result, I would like to create a page about him, and was thus seeking guidance on how to keep it up. Kindly advise. Thank you.

What you need to do is to establish that he is notable as described at WP:BIO by collecting reliable sources that cover him in depth. If you think he is, you should seek the advice of DGG (talk · contribs), the administrator who nominated the article for deletion. the purpose of Wikipedia is not to honor those who have been "a huge inspiration to many" but not provide encyclopedia articles about people who are notable, in the sense that they have received references providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources, not press releases or mere announcements. This does not correspond to the ordinary sense of notability or importance. There is no intrinsic reason to think that an individual who is Director of Public Affairs and Media Relations with the Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services or the news director of a TV station would be notable. It is possible that he is notable because of his awards (but it seems that almost all recipients of the Edward R. Murrow Awards do not have articles in WP), or because of the court case--but perhaps then there should bean article on the case. . If you have additional source that cover him in a substantial way, not from the stations of organizations he is affiliated with, you could write an article in Draft space.
