Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited U.S. Route 58 Alternate, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Green Spring, Virginia. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

US 58 Alt. exit numbers

In one of the edits you made today on the U.S. Route 58 Alternate article, you mentioned that the exit numbers originally in the RJL were unsupported. Minor correction: The exit numbers, bizarre as they are, do exist per the Google Street Views of the road which I checked when I did the original RJL for it (and before rows for state highways that hadn't existed for 80 years were also added in). Here's one example at SR 610 near Big Stone Gap.

Since the numbering is so screwy, maybe it's not worth adding a whole column to it but possibly be mentioned in either the RJL notes column or the route description itself. But I commend you for expanding the article that I originally summarized; I was thinking of at least spinning it off to its own article earlier this week but by getting to it first, you get the credit. Nice work! As long as my map remains unaltered. :) —Mr. Matté (Talk/Contrib) 03:49, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

I am fine with mentioning the exit numbers in the Notes column of the RJL. I do not think it is worth maintaining an Exit column for so few exit numbers, especially ones that are bizarre.  V 04:00, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Big fucking deal listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Big fucking deal. Since you had some involvement with the Big fucking deal redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. The Theosophist (talk) 12:51, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

I've added a source to back up the Old Collington Road addition. In the process, I discovered that it has a designation of 197B. I want to say thank you for being vigilant and ensuring WP:V is upheld. We need more folks like you.

For the record, I'd like to retract my edit summary in this edit, but I can't figure out how. Your efforts are clearly not ownership but attempts to uphold our standards. If you can point me to how to remove that edit summary, I'd be more than happy to retract it.

(talk page stalker) @DissidentAggressor: edit summaries cannot be edited by non-adminstrators. Admins can delete them, and that's all. They are only supposed to remove them in limited circumstances, and I don't think any of those reasons would apply in this case. In short, that edit summary is there to stay. About the only thing that I can think of doing is a null edit (say to add a redundant space) and typing out a new edit summary that would express a retraction of the old one. Imzadi 1979  06:15, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
@DissidentAggressor: your edit summary has some truth to it. But in the end, I am pleased with the results. I appreciate that you applied the SHA memos as a source. I have known about these sources, but my effort to figure out the best way to apply them in articles coincided with a drop in desire and time to edit. I hope I get more time and desire to apply these sources as the summer begins.  V 13:03, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
