Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:23, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hello, WillyJulia, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Banjeboi 21:11, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008[edit]

Hi, per this discussion, Do No Harm and reasons to leave out Crocker's private info (for now at least)) which is in the talk page archive. We are refraining from revealing this person's identity. You may also want to consider that you're mistaken and wrongly identify someone else as Crocker who then is put into harm's way. Banjeboi 21:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've also removed the copyright image from your user page. Banjeboi 21:11, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, there. If you wouldn't mind, please join in the discussion on the article's talk page, at Talk:Chris Crocker (Internet celebrity). If you need any help using a talk page, you can see WP:TALK. – Luna Santin (talk) 02:54, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not add unreferenced or inadequately referenced controversial biographical information concerning living persons to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Chris Crocker (Internet celebrity) The subject of the article has kept their identity concealed due to ongoing death threats. Also blogs are not considered reliable sources for identification.. Thank you. Banjeboi 11:27, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User page[edit]

Hi. Please create your own userpage; copying another editor's page (identically), can lead to confusion. Thx. El_C 11:23, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You two seem to be involved in an editorial dispute, so I would prefer it would not look like that editor's userpage, even remotely. Thx again. El_C 11:53, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Jaysweet (talk) 15:37, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents[edit]

FYI. A discussion involving you is ongoing at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. I do think you should step back for a moment and stop edit warring. There's no reason why you can't have a calm discussion about whether or not their real name and location should be included without actually mentioning their real name and location while the discussion is ongoing. --OnoremDil 16:03, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at Talk:Chris Crocker (internet celebrity), you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Horologium (talk) 20:55, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Harassment[edit]

Please stop harassing Allstarecho. Thank you. APK yada yada 11:36, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

how am i harrasing him? i didnt know who he was so just leaving a reminder for everyone--WillyJulia (talk) 13:39, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You linked an anonymous account to his user page clearly connecting the two. If you don't see this behaviour combined with the rest of your interactions as bordering on uncivil you're likely headed for a block. You seem to have a real interest in Crocker and some of the LGBT wikipedians which is fine but keep in mind that we are building articles and disruptive and uncivil conduct impedes that work. Banjeboi 01:08, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i was wondering why a ip came and reverted me when i have never seen them before, and i was reminding everyone who he was. i know it is him because someone already said so on his talk page but he deletes it every time--WillyJulia (talk) 10:35, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A lesson I had to learn and have come to understand more over time is that anonymous IP's contributions are just as valid and welcome as anyone else's - there are many valid reasons for folks who choose or are forced to be anonymous here. As long as, just like everyone else, they are not vandalizing, their contributions are welcome. There's also little reason to try to pin a name or identity to any editor who isn't otherwise violating policies. If they are there still is less of an interest in identifying them as there is in simply stopping the disruption and getting them to add needed content instead. There are admins who specialize in identifying vandals but that seems to be more of a last resort. Banjeboi 18:38, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to Chris Crocker (Internet celebrity), you will be blocked from editing. You have been warned not to enter unsourced or poorly sourced information about his purported hometown, and why this information has not been incorporated into the article. You will be blocked if you continue your disruptive editing over this issue. Horologium (talk) 00:48, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it was already in the article for ages, so i was putting in the infobox too, or is it only not allowed in the infobox? like the link on the talk page?--WillyJulia (talk) 01:09, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, it was, but it should not have been, and I note that you have since removed it from the body of the article; thank you for that. Horologium (talk) 01:21, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

funny i still get my second final warning--WillyJulia (talk) 01:35, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No worries there, the above was your last. Please see WP:BLP. Gwen Gale (talk) 01:39, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

want to tell me about WP:BLP one more time? everything under personal life should be deleted or the entire article if WP:BLP is followed--WillyJulia (talk) 01:42, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLP says that unsourced, potentially controversial or harmful statements should be deleted. If you have a citation for the city name, put it in. If not, leave the information out. The subject has gone on record many times about wanting to keep the name of his home town private. --jonny-mt 05:24, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it already has citations, or is it just me that makes it all different?--WillyJulia (talk) 13:42, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I checked the citations, none of which mention the alleged hometown of the subject of the article. In fact, one of them is available only to authorized users (the myspace link) and should be removed. The other two links go out of their way to mention that they will not disclose the location where the individual is located. Horologium (talk) 14:13, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it is very funny that i get all the warnings when the info was already there, also it says so at http://www.howardstern.com/rundown.hs?d=1189569600#10371 which is reference 1. im taking the blame for benjibois mistakes. welcome to wikipedia! --WillyJulia (talk) 14:48, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The mistake I made, in addition to not notifying you of the ANI thread for which I do apologize, was not realizing that someone had also placed the alleged hometown elsewhere in the article. The above link also does not state his hometown or where he grew up but does reiterate that he wouldn't divulged that information. So in short the information that was in there also was also removed as it violated WP:BLP. Banjeboi 00:49, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed photo[edit]

Willy,
I just removed that pic of your page. Yes, I know Wikipedia is not censored, however, that doesn't mean anything goes. Keep it off your page please. Thanks Just say "NO" to WP:FUR 15:45, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

last warning[edit]

If you carry on making personal attacks such as this, you will be blocked. Please stop, thanks. Gwen Gale (talk)

why do i need to get warned twice? plus he deserved it.--WillyJulia (talk) 10:06, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are failing to grasp the concept of no personal attacks. Period. seicer | talk | contribs 11:30, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i was returning the favour--WillyJulia (talk) 11:50, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We're strong believers in two wrongs not making a right. If someone makes a personal attack against you, drop me a line (or post to any other admin or to WP:ANI). Don't retaliate, or you'll end up in strife yourself. --Dweller (talk) 12:34, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have started an ANI thread on your latest posts[edit]

I feel anything I write may not be seen in a neutral way so I'm asking for others to take a look at some of your recent posts directed at myself. The thread is here. Banjeboi 01:42, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And this is your leash being tightened. Any further comments or actions that are in tort or continue an edit war, will be met with increasing sanctions. seicer | talk | contribs 02:06, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

can you leave me alone? im trying to talk to another user about a article and you and other users keep harassing me over nothing, am I on a hitlist or something?--WillyJulia (talk) 02:07, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked you 24 hours for making this edit after being asked to stay away from that user's talk page. Gwen Gale (talk) 02:08, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for disruption. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Gwen Gale (talk) 02:10, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

what the hell? DISRUPTION? you are the one disrupting me! i get blocked for talking to a user? i get warned all the time to discuss things and when i do i get blocked i cant win can i--WillyJulia (talk) 02:17, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ok next time im editing the article i will just leave my messages in the edit summary box like benjiboi does, talk of him is off limit!--WillyJulia (talk) 02:25, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You can win: Please try to be polite and civil. Don't say things which seem like you're trying to stir things up or frighten off other users. If you promise to make an effort to be more polite and civil (and stay away from that user's talk page) I'll unblock you now. Gwen Gale (talk) 02:27, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i didnt say anything nasty i just dont think hes a comedian, but you are making me mad with all this!--WillyJulia (talk) 02:31, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry I'm making you mad. I want to help you get along here. Say you'll try to be more civil and stay away from Banjeboi's talk page and I'll unblock you now, ok? Gwen Gale (talk) 02:33, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

but i have to talk to him instead of editing because he disagrees with me on things--WillyJulia (talk) 02:36, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disagreements happen all the time here. It's ok to talk to Banjeboi but you must be civil and polite about it. Anyway my offer still stands, say you'll stay off Banjeboi's talk page for now (use the article's talk page instead) and be civil, I'll lift the block now. Deal? Gwen Gale (talk) 02:39, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i was civil but he didnt answer me--WillyJulia (talk) 02:44, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm ready to unblock you. I want to unblock you. What you think is funny comes off as uncivil to others. Will you at least try to be less funny then and be more straightforward? Say you'll do that (and lay off Banjeboi's talk page for awhile) and I'll unblock you now. Gwen Gale (talk) 02:47, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

where do i sign up for a mob to protect me from such nasty users as myself? or do i had to keep submitting stuff to the complaints department?--WillyJulia (talk) 15:03, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gwen Gale's offer is very generous. I really suggest you take it. Would it make you feel better if we asked Benjoiboi to avoid your talk page, and the two of you can communicate solely on the article talk page? We are not trying to come down on you here, but if a user feels you have been personally attacking them (even if it was not your intention) it is a fair request to ask you to avoid their talk page. I have had to ask people to do the same thing, and I have been asked to do the same thing. It doesn't have to be a big deal... --Jaysweet (talk) 15:17, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Admin noticeboard[edit]

WillyJulia, you are treading on very thin ice with your contributions to the admin noticeboard. As I and several others have explained, the article was determined to meet the criteria for inclusion. The article will not be deleted simply because you want it to be deleted, and you need to move on. Stop continuing the discussion. - auburnpilot talk 16:36, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Marina Orlova is a living person. Your comments on the AFD were completely unacceptable. Mr.Z-man 17:44, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just stop[edit]

You've already been told that AN/I is not the right place for your complaint, yet you continue. You already tried a proper deletion discussion, and your reason for wanting deletion was widely regarded as ridiculous. Just stop beating the dead horse, already.
