October 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Cadra calidella. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Thanks for letting me know! Have you changed it or should I go ahead and change it?

N. fusca[edit]

I think there's enough content on the page now to avoid speedy deletion. You should feel comfortable continuing to expand the page. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:19, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Niphanda fusca[edit]

Hi, I'm Nick Moyes. Z.kelley, thanks for creating Niphanda fusca!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This is not a good article! Having seen your user page, I'd expect far better from a biologist with aspirations in journalism. We need information on distribution and habitat. We need an author name in the infobox. We need a reference to Bremer and Grey that you say describes this taxon well. We need some content! Please Google the species name to find some worthwhile sources and information.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions or need help with making your first article on a previously undescribed taxon into something worthwhile, do feel free to leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more general editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
