Martin Mystere

[edit]

Hi, this edit, where you resubmit Martin Mystere at Template:Peter Pan is not constructive because another editor has reverted your earlier submission of this data. Per our bold, revert, discuss cycle, you need to open a discussion on the template's talk page to seek consensus for inclusion, not silently resubmit it. Thanks. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on The Adventures of Robin Hood (1985 film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1986 film)

[edit]

The article Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1986 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:NFILM. Only source is imdb. "A film's entry in the The Internet Movie Database, or similar databases, can provide valuable information [but] does not by itself establish the film's notability, however."

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ubiquity (talk) 22:02, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1986 film)

[edit]

Hello, Zgrzgen,

Thank you for creating Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1986 film).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article currently fails WP:GNG (general notability) and WP:NFILM (notability guideline for films), I've added refs 2 and 3, but they are trivial, being 1-sentence mentions. Ref 1 is IMDb, which is, of course, non-significant or reliable (see WP:RSP, a great essay with guidelines on if refs are reliable sources). (Sidenote if you didn't know this already: We usually need multiple significant, independent, reliable refs to meet GNG, see also the film guidelines). Still, many thanks for creating this article, but IMHO the redirect might need to be restored if you can't find any more refs. For more help, see the Teahouse.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|VickKiang}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.
