Velobike (Russian: Велобайк) is a bicycle sharing system run by the city of Moscow, Russia.

Overview

The system began on the 31st of May 2013 and now provides over 2700 bicycles available from over 300 stations situated around the city of Moscow. The bicycles can be returned to any other station. Access is via a subscription system in which a card is purchased online or at a station giving the user an account and a PIN with which they access bicycles through a terminal situated at the bicycles. Troika card can be used instead the account number.
