Wang Feifei (Chinese: 王霏霏; pinyin: Wáng Fēifēi; born April 27, 1987), known professionally as Fei, is the lead vocalist and the oldest in the South Korean girl group Miss A. Fei is considered one of the four best well-known and recognized Chinese female celebrities active in the South Korean entertainment scene, along with fellow Miss A member Jia.

Biography

She was born on April 27, 1987 in Haikou, Hainan, China.[1][2] She is currently attending Seoul Institute of the Arts (Seoul Arts), formally known as Seoul Art College, alongside Miss A's Jia.[3] In China, Fei appeared on the Zhejiang TV (浙江电视台) audition program "The More She Dances the Prettier She Is" ("越跳越美丽").[4] She was a former member of the project group and Chinese version of the Wonder Girls 'Sisters', but ended up being a member of the South Korean girl group Miss A after the project for the Chinese version of the Wonder Girls got cancelled due to member and trainee changes within their company. In 2010, she, as well as the other future members of Miss A, was an advertising model for Samsung Anycall China.

Solo activities

Fei has been titled as "Variety Blue Chip" for her recent popularity arising in 2013–14, due to the variety of programs where she had been showing her different skills such as cooking and dancing. She appeared on "Master Chef Korea Celebrity" and won the 2nd place. She was also a candidate on "Dancing with the Stars 3", with her dancing partner Kim Soo Ro, where she won 1st place and solidified her name as a great dancer in K-Pop. In 2014, Fei has been part of the Chinese program "If You Love", a dating show in which she had being coupled with Chinese actor Sun Jian. She made a cameo in 2014 on the SBS drama programme Temptation as Jenny, and also sang the Drama OST "One Summer Night" alongside Jo Kwon (2AM) in both Korean and English.
