Substitute. Category:Album track list templates are used for navigation between songs in an album. As mentioned above, the sole transclusion is a song and the only in the album with an article, and neither does the album have an article. WP:EXISTING is therefore not met. I hope the author(s) intend to create more such articles, whereupon this template can be recreated. wow, so I have to explicitly seed parameters to have them not appear? that has to be the dumbest syntax I have ever seen. non-blank should be non-blank, blank should be blank, and not specified should be omitted. it's really too bad we aren't discussing {{2TeamBracket}} here, since you didn't tag that template for discussion. in that case, absolutely keep and do not merge since there are no plans to change the dumb syntax in {{2TeamBracket}}. no idea why you would do that instead of |seeds=no. Frietjes (talk) 14:19, 16 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge (unless as asserted below, such would contravene policy as an outcome here, in which case, Delete). Firstly, Frietjes correctly distinguishes Template:2TeamBracket-Compact-NoSeeds from Template:2TeamBracket.
Comparing Template:Round4, Template:Round8, etc., with Template:8TeamBracket-Compact-NoSeeds, Template:8TeamBracket-Compact-NoSeeds, etc. (curiously, Template:4TeamBracket-Compact-NoSeeds does not exist), the difference is that the "compact" templates leave no space between matches in the first round, making the template more vertically compact. Frietjes points this out above.
However, in a two-team "bracket", there is only one round, so it is always compact (or never compact, depending on Is the glass half empty or half full?), so there is no significant difference between the two templates that I can observe, and merging Template:2TeamBracket-Compact-NoSeeds with Template:Round2 would be appropriate. --Bsherr (talk) 18:10, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  - Discussions proposing deletion often result in a consensus to merge instead. Not to put you on the spot, but you've even participated in a few of them, Frietjes.
