03:00:26, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Motiabedi[edit]

I need advice on how to improve my page and what is available to me to get my page posted on the website. Motiabedi (talk) 03:00, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

04:19:49, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Waransivanesh[edit]

i was on a opinion that the inline references will be considered as reference. so, i didn't add any reference explicitly in my last submitted article. I have gone through the documentation again clearly and added the required references now. That is the reason i am requesting for a re-review. Thanks in advance.

Waransivanesh (talk) 04:19, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft has been deleted as blatant self-promotion. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Deb (talk) 09:11, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 06:14:53, 4 August 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by SylviaatRSG[edit]

I submitted an article yesterday, but it was rejected for the following reason: "This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia." I am at a loss for what to do to fix this, as I thought when I wrote the article that I was being neutral and trying hard to write "only the facts." But I guess I was wrong about that. Therefore, I think I will need help to create a more neutral article. Is it possible to get help with that--either specific suggestions how to improve the article so it will be accepted, or have another editor who is more versed in the Wikipedia encyclopedia style who can make the edits him/herself and then re-submit the article for review? I really appreciate your help and input. Thanks so much. SylviaatRSG (talk) 06:14, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rather than writing about your employer, it would be much better to request its creation at Wikipedia:Requested articles.Deb (talk) 09:18, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My Draft for Las-o… got declined, although I followed the template of Roxens's Ce-ți cântă dragostea. Can somebody help me with making my draft become a real article? Thanks! --Monsterofain (talk) 07:27, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Saskia Schuldig (talk) 07:46, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there.

I have added a diclosure to state that I am an employee of the organisation. I have been as un-promotional as possible and only included fact and information covered by external sources. I would like to create this company page as we have had many queries about the company and we would like to list ourselves on Wikipedia for more information for our users.

Please let me know what I can do to improve the 1-grid draft article - I have trued adjusting sources to be more notable and include external sources.

Saskia Schuldig (talk) 07:46, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have added some "Linked in" external links, these are not reliable sources, please also read WP:REFB for help with formatting sources. You are also working on the same draft here Draft:1-grid please only work on work draft to avoid confusion, both of your drafts have been rejected. 08:14:34, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Գարիկ Ավագյան[edit]

Dear wiki-editors, I need help editing/re-writing an article. I want to submit this article for review for the third time. There is a point on which the article meets WP:GNG. Please help me remove unnecessary information and make the article short, but acceptable for Wikipedia. Thank you in advance!

11:03:34, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Mfaakeef[edit]

@Mfaakeef: I have removed all the extraneous material you placed here. Please never do that again. Your draft is declkned. It is not notable as it stands. We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, and in WP:RS please. See WP:42. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this draft a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today. Fiddle Faddle 12:11, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

11:12:40, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Ena19[edit]

Hi, We have re-written the draft in formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. We have referred to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. We have also avoided peacock terms that promote the subject. Unnecessary wiki links have been removed. Please, consider it for a re-review or give us advice on how we can improve it. Thank you. 14:01:30, 4 August 2020 review of submission by PaulanerPassau[edit]

I run out of options. dLocal is a payment facilitator, such as Adyen, Pyoneer or Stripe. The content of dLocal is based exactly the same as other payment gateway providers. I read every guideline at Wikipedia, I disclosed my employeer on May 11th with the suggested paid template [1]. Everything is done the exact same way as any other competitor. I would love to know exactly what I have to do/change/write in order to publish this site. Please help me out with some direct indications, as I probably don't get the information in the prior referred pages. I have been through them several times and I unfortunately don't know how to proceed and I have been stuck for several weeks! Last editor only declined the article because there were minimal changes since the last decline, but couldn't help on content either. (SK2242)

I love Wikipedia, it's my first point of research whenever I need to google something, but I feel like I am trapped in an automated machinery, no indications about content, no help regarding options, etc.

I appreciate very much any helpful indication.

14:45:19, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Michael Anthony Phillips[edit]

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review the draft of this page again. To address the criticism that lead to the first submission's rejection ("This is essentially a promotional press release."), I have removed a lot of the language that would suggest this article would be promotional. Please let me know if more must be removed or edited, and I will be sure to make those revisions!

Michael Anthony Phillips (talk) 14:45, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Michael Anthony Phillips. Rejection is intended to convey that the topic is hopeless, that no amount of editing will make the draft acceptable. Consequently, volunteers do not intend to review it again. The relevant policy is WP:NOTPROMO. A less formal and more flamboyant summary is here. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:32, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Originalmrmukul, Your draft was extremely WP:PROMOTIONAL. Eternal Shadow Talk 15:26, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia doesn’t encourage people writing autobiographies, if you are notable somebody unconnected with you will write one eventually, but most of us are not notable enough. Theroadislong (talk) 15:31, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

15:38:53, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Jjocarbone[edit]

Thank you for approving the entry for William D. Mundell. There was also a photo as part of the draft but the photo is not part of the final. Please advise

Thank you

Jjocarbone Jjocarbone (talk) 15:38, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The photo was deleted as an unused non free image. Theroadislong (talk) 15:45, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Jjocarbone: Non-free images are permitted only in articles, not in drafts. So while the draft was waiting to be reviewed, the image was removed from the draft. Then, since the image was non-free and no page was using it, the image was deleted. Now that the draft has been published as an article, you can start over on the photo. Possibly the administrator who deleted File:Mundell photo.jpeg will restore it if you ask them and explain how you are going to use it. Otherwise you can upload it again. However you get the file back, you can then add the image to the article. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:23, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

18:29:12, 4 August 2020 review of submission by Santyrockx[edit]

I have submitted a page regarding Government Industrial Training Institute in recent days and it was rejected. Please let me know what is the content is not clear in that so that it will be helpful to create other pages in coming days. I have given reference also for the page in a link.

Santyrockx (talk) 18:29, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Santyrockx Your draft does little more than state that the institute exists. Wikipedia articles must do more, they must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the institute, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization. The sources must be completely unconnected with the institute and offer more than passing/brief mentions, press releases, interviews with staff, or other primary sources. Please read Your First Article for more information. 331dot (talk) 22:41, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

18:35:43, 4 August 2020 review of draft by PriceWeber[edit]

Hello, in working very hard on this entry, I reviewed best practices as well as reviewed dozens of similar entries for ad agencies both in our town of Louisville as well as outside of town. I avoided hyperbole, provided real citations and kept the listing very factual. In comparing the listing to others I reviewed, for example Doe-Anderson, Inc, I'm struggling with finding any substantial difference in our listing from theirs which was approved. Can you please help me see what I am missing?

21:01:43, 4 August 2020 review of draft by Bcfield11[edit]

I have updated the language throughout the page in order to better reflect the guidelines you’ve shared regarding marketing language.

I have updated the sources cited throughout to ensure Thrive Capital is mentioned in the headlines of articles.

There are a few key pieces of information critical to the page that can only be independently verified by the website TechCrunch. Thrive Capital makes the majority of its investments in technology startups that rely on TechCrunch as one of the top media outlets to announce news regarding fundraising. In reviewing the Wikipedia articles of other major Venture Capital firms, I noticed that TechCrunch is frequently utilized as a verified citation.

If there are any additional changes I can make to the submission in order to ensure it addresses the issues you’ve raised and Wikipedia’s standards, please do let me know and I can continue to update as you see fit.

Bcfield11 (talk) 21:01, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bcfield11, you imply that this account is shared, which is against Wikipedia policy. Eternal Shadow Talk 21:06, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can confirm that this is a personal account. I have updated the language and sources cited throughout the page to address the issues previously raised and can continue to edit if there are any additional changes required.
