[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Muéro 18:44, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with the page Los Angeles, California on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. List of districts and neighborhoods of Los Angeles
[edit]Thanks for your work on List of districts and neighborhoods of Los Angeles. However I'd encourage you to limit the descriptions of the neighborhoods. We try to avoid original research, which is a fancy way of saying "our own opinions". The less we say the less chance we have of inserting personal opinion. Cheers, -Will Beback 03:11, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Your enrollment graphs for California State University
[edit]Inasmuch as the page already breaks at 800x600 because of the table, I won't contest, but it's important to remember that not everyone has a giant monitor. I also wonder why you included a height, since it will only act as max-height (aspect ratio is preserved). Is there any chance you could save these as .svg? Then they'd scale and look better at any size.--Curtis Clark 03:20, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Girona cathedral pano.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Girona cathedral pano.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:31, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Donald Charles Hensman
[edit]Hello Infernalfox,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Donald Charles Hensman for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kharkiv07 (talk) 20:28, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Richard Lee Dorman, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bel Air and Encino. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Photo requests
[edit]Hi! Do you do photo requests for the Los Angeles area? WhisperToMe (talk) 11:59, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
The file File:UC Fulltime Enrollment.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
orphaned image, no encyclopedic use, no info on source of data, easily recreateable
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
