This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Yosef Babad (Minchat Chinuch), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Yosef Babad. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. December 2009[edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to the page Yosef Babad (Minchat Chinuch). Blank pages are malicious to Wikipedia as they often confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate revision. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please use the deletion process for how to proceed. CfD nomination of Category:HTC rosh yeshivas[edit]

I have nominated Category:HTC rosh yeshivas (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for renaming to Category:Hebrew Theological College rosh yeshivas (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. — ξxplicit 02:51, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good to me.User:wizir01

I have nominated Yosef Babad (HTC), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Yosef Babad (HTC). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Kittybrewster 11:39, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I did some work to the article, some of which hopefully made his notability clearer to readers. If you would like to increase the chances of the article not being deleted, you may want to modify your comment at the Articles for Deletion page in accordance with the usual practice of voting "Keep" or "Delete". Although the closing administrator is only supposed to take into account the strength of the comment, not the format, in my experience that is not always the case. The closing administrator may just count the votes and if your comment is not written as a "Keep" it may be discounted.--brewcrewer (yada, yada) 20:38, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nachman Barr has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A search for references failed to find significant coverage in reliable sources to comply with notability requirements. This included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals, which can be seen from the following links:
Nachman Barrnews, books, scholar
Consequently, this article is about a subject that appears to lack sufficient notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File permission problem with File:Carmy.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Carmy.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:40, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Richard Steiner.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Richard Steiner.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Peripitus (Talk) 03:32, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Hi, File:StevenFineforWikipedia.jpg, File:Carmy1.jpg, File:Louis Feldman.jpg, File:Richard Steiner.jpg, File:Richard Steiner2.jpg are nominated for deletion for missing evidence of permission. Regards Hekerui (talk) 16:17, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I updated 3 of the images with the evidence requested. The other two images are no longer needed and can be deleted, even though permission was received for those.--Wizir01 (talk) 22:30, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are not an OTRS volunteer, please do not add the OTRS templates yourself; instead, leave the {{OTRS pending}} template, and wait for an OTRS volunteer to add the ticket. As it happens, I am not convinced that the Feldman image has been released. However, I am passing this case over to Stifle, as they were his tickets. J Milburn (talk) 11:51, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Stifle is not currently around, so I will deal with it myself- the ticket in question does not contain a release under a CC license, only a release for use on Wikipedia. Could you please let me know if there is anything I have missed? J Milburn (talk) 11:56, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Concerning Louis Feldman's picture - I'll forward another email to you with this permission explicitly spelled out. I just sent an email to the owner requesting his permission again. He put it on all the other images I uploaded, but we overlooked the Louis Feldman image. And I guess that an earlier email from him stating that all images originating from him are released under the CC license wasn't acceptable.
Concerning updating the documents with the OTRS templates: Thanks for explaining the process to me, and that I should use the OTRS Pending template. I took the liberty of updating the images since 6 months had passed, and then you were ready to remove them. So I figured I erred and was supposed to update the image with the ticket number myself. I'll plan to use the pending template in the future. Is there a place on the pending template to add the ticket number? That would probably make the process easier for the OTRS volunteer. --Wizir01 (talk) 13:56, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I just submitted the email with the permissions for Louis Feldman --Wizir01 (talk) 15:06, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tendler photo[edit]

How is it that you have procured a free-use R' Tendler photograph, and why can we not use other photos of other roshei yeshiva under the same permission? DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 05:10, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanx! DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 00:26, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Yosef Babad, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Yosef Babad and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Yosef Babad during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Disambiguation link notification for June 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dovid Lifshitz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ezras Torah (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
