Bilby has been active on Wikipedia since early 2008. He is an academic working in IT and IS, so to an extent Wikipedia is part of his day job as well as his hobby. Bilby mostly focuses on photography, copyright, public art, and anything where the research looks particularly enjoyable.

I love the collaborative environment on Wikipedia – it can take effort to make it work, but it is far more rewarding than I ever imagined. My favorite moments on Wikipedia all involve working with other contributors to build something better than what we could do on our own.

I'm fairly good at referencing and including references in inline citations. I like to help people find the documentation that will guide them to participate more. I'm not good at composition.

I've been reading and editing Wikipedia for a long time. Years ago I was a sailor, now older than most Wikipedians --> Hopefully more patient.

There are two kinds of articles I edit on Wikipedia. Those in my domain of expertise (physics, broadly construed) when I wanted to use an article and found it lacking; and others, which I found via Wikipedia's "backstage areas".

Sir MemeGod

Hi, I'm MemeGod! I am active pretty much 24/7 (except sleep, of course), and am glad to help with whatever questions you may have! I have experience in article deletions, article creations and other technical aspects of Wikipedia. Have a great day (or night)! :)

When I began as a new editor, most of my Wikipedia knowledge was given to me by the Teahouse hosts. I want to return this favour by helping other new editors.
