Wiki Loves Pride is supported by the Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group

Wiki Loves Pride is supported by Wikimedia LGBT+, a Wikimedia user group that promotes the development of content on Wikimedia projects which is of interest to LGBT+ communities. Wikimedia LGBT+ is a global, intersectional user group that welcomes people of all races, religions, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and abilities.

2013 served as a "soft launch" for Wiki Loves Pride, during which project pages and infrastructure were created for organizing future activities. 2014 saw the first global Wiki Loves Pride campaign. Subsequent campaigns were held during 2015–2018, and the 2019 campaign is upcoming. Click on the following links for more information:
