A request for comment confirmed that sandboxes of established but inactive editors may not be blanked due solely to inactivity. Technical news Following a discussion, Twinkle's default CSD behavior will soon change, most likely this week. After the change, Twinkle will default to "tagging mode" if there is no CSD tag present, and default to "deletion mode" if there is a CSD tag present. You will be able to always default to "deletion mode" (the current behavior) using your Twinkle preferences. If they wanted to be making good edits, they would be. I'm very tolerant of inconsequential "gee whiz, can I really edit this" messing around, but much less so towards a long-term pattern of disruption. The Admin's Barnstar Thanks for getting rid of that useless AFD Homeofthething (talk) 02:27, 31 March 2020 (UTC) This is what I wrote before I edit conflicted with your deletion: @Homeofthething and Drmies: Yes, and according to Wikipedia:Rules for Fools April fool's events should not take place before April 1 in UTC. This shows up as a regular AfD at April Fools right now, which should not be happening. Especially since this article is likely receiving an increased amount of viewership at this time, this AfD should probably be closed early as keep. Thank you for dealing with this, but I did have a question. Why did you choose G1 as the CSD criteria? I admit I'm not a frequent contributor to AfD, but I thought that the result would probrably be a speedy keep.
