Autopatrolled (add request)

I must object to this. I know from working at ITN that ES14 often creates stubs about recent events which do not necessarily meet our inclusion standards, and often these are written as if the belong on wikinews. It is not until another editor comes along to do cleanup (often after seeing his new article nominated for ITN) are the articles acceptable. Please consider revoking this right. StrPby (talk) 00:01, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
+1.User regularly disregards comments from other users, taking them as "attacking", most articles he creates are not worth for an encyclopedia, but the less-known, sister wiki, Wikinews. Diego Grez (talk) 00:07, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Has relatively recent deletion notices on his/her talk page. Dabomb87 (talk) 23:06, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Because I have recently been using Twinkle with the help of recent changes to tag for speedy deletion and proposal for deletion a lot of pages that I patrol, this IMO would make it easier.Thepoliticalmaster (talk) 17:36, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Autopatrolled has nothing to do with deletion, and your account is way too new, Sadads (talk) 17:39, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Approximately 20,000 non-automated edits + creation tens of articles over 7 years on Wikipedia, few of which have been deleted; since I'm not a prolific article creator, I don't NEED the autopatrolled right but I think I've proven to be a responsible article creator Pseudo-Richard (talk) 18:06, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
To be more precise, I've created 217 pages since March 2006. Thus, my average is 40+ pages created per year. --Pseudo-Richard (talk) 23:53, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Why are you no longer an administrator? -FASTILY (TALK) 02:16, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I gave up the bit voluntarily over a year ago upon request regarding issues regarding copyright violations. Here is a link to the discussion. There have been no copyvio issues since then but I have not requested the admin bit back because I figure the further back in history those transgressions lie, the better chance I have of getting it back. --Pseudo-Richard (talk) 05:40, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I believe Richard is operating in all good faith, but unfortunately did create quite a problem with copyright issues which (due to our dreadful backlog) is still some ways from being sorted. The question is whether he has a full understanding of Wikipedia's approach to copyright now. If so, then I would certainly enthusiastically support his getting autopatrolled right. I'd be happy to conduct a random review, but since I have limited volunteer time on Wikipedia wouldn't be able to get to it until this weekend. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:11, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A few years under my belt. Articles sourced, Wikified and non-weaseled at upload. Reasonable edit history of improving articles so I believe I know what's needed. Acabashi (talk) 01:48, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done The autopatrolled right is only granted to prolific article creators with ~50+ non-problematic article creations. You have created 24 articles. -FASTILY (TALK) 02:24, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Odd as you have approved one with 34 articles - ho hum. Sorry, 36 now :) Acabashi (talk) 02:45, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't do that. -FASTILY (TALK) 02:48, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. I just thought rules are rules whichever admin applied them. My articles are not challenged; they just go down the list in yellow and no doubt therefore add add extra work for patrollers. Not a problem for me - your the boss :) Acabashi (talk) 03:17, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

We are entertainment counsel for a number of celebrities and public figures, and, at times, submit or revise information in a client's biography to correct inaccurate facts. We only submit or revise information as to our clients and only upon verified information. Therefore, we request autopatrolled rights since we should be considered a reliable source with first-hand knowledge and information as to the few items or facts that we submit or correct. We can be avilable to discuss this request directly with the person or persons with authority to grant the request. Thank you. L&S-ESQS (talk) 22:03, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
