CHINICT (Simplified Chinese: 科技明星在中国 - literally meaning "Tech Stars In China") is a conference[1][2] including a Hackathon[3][4][5] focused on the China tech innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.[6][7] CHINICT takes place once a year at the end of May in Beijing at Tsinghua University Science Park.

Franck Nazikian

Franck Nazikian (Simplified Chinese: 方克纳) is a tech entrepreneur and investor. He is the CEO & co-founder of WowTune, a company focused on creating VR singing and spoken voices. He is also the founder of Tempo2 Ventures, and PROFETERNITY - a Blockchain company and a bitcoin fund. [67]

Previously, he was president[68][69][70] of CHINICT[71][72][73] - he founded in 2005,[74][75] and also run DEVELOPNEUR[76] - a series of pitch competitions & hackathons[77] - he created in 2011.[78]

In 2012, Franck Nazikian was invited by Liu Qi, member of the CPC Politburo and former President[79] of the Beijing Olympics Organizing Committee, and Wan Gang, Minister of Science and Technology of China, as a distinguished guest at the Great Hall of the People.[80]

Prior to CHINICT[81] and DEVELOPNEUR, together with Renaud Laplanche, Franck co-founded TripleHop Technologies, acquired by Oracle.[82] Franck also served as a managing director at Gemplus International, making venture capital investments in tech companies.

Franck is supporting different charity organizations - including the United Nations's World Food Programme.[83]
