Suizhong County (simplified Chinese: 绥中县; traditional Chinese: 綏中縣; pinyin: Suízhōng Xiàn) is a county of the city of Huludao, Liaoning province, People's Republic of China. It is located on the northern coast of the Bohai Sea and lies in the southwest part of the province, on the northeastern border of Hebei. The county has an area of 2,765 square kilometres (1,068 sq mi), a population of 630,000, and is an economically important region within Huludao.[1] Suizhong is famed as the home of the first PRC citizen to travel in space, Yang Liwei.
