Icon of the Sacred Heart[edit]

I have placed a "citation needed" indicator at the paragraph that states that Abp. Burke announced that an icon of the Sacred Heart would be dedicated at the Cathedral. First, because the archdiocesan newspaper is called the St. Louis Review, not the Catholic Herald, second, because a search of the St. Louis Review archives indicates there was no such story, and third, because a general Google search does not turn up any corroborating facts. If a reference cannot be provided, I propose to delete the paragraph. 68.165.204.148 (talk) 11:26, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After a year of no citation and no follow-up, this statement in the article has been deleted. poroubalous (talk) 22:36, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

possibly good source[edit]

"New Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis Merges Old with New by Ashley Johnson is an article in a masonry trade association magazine, which was a regular magazine from 2002-2015 then went online as an e-magazine you can subscribe to. I found the magazine to have some good original stuff in a different article. Maybe this has some good facts for this wikipedia article or maybe it is just regurgitation from the sources you have already, I dunno. --Doncram (talk) 03:10, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
