Gossip[edit]

Please stop adding the word "gossip" to the article. Ms. Velez-Mitchell is NOT a gossip journalist as "gossip journalism" is not considered legit. Hearsay and gossip are NOT news, nor journalism. Anyone can gossip, it doesn't make them a journalist. Further inclusion of this word will be removed and an an administrator will be contacted for corrective action.--XLR8TION (talk) 20:04, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

New Book[edit]

Can we add her latest book to the appropriate section:

In August 2013, Velez-Mitchell released her fourth book, New York Times Bestseller, Exposed: The Secret Life of Jodi Arias. The book closely examines the life of notorious killer, Jodi Arias, leading up to the horrific death of her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, and the ensuing murder trial that shocked the nation at every turn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dvallad (talkcontribs) 17:02, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done though with the marketing language toned down to fit within Wikipedia's WP:MOS. --Marc Kupper|talk 20:15, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update the article![edit]

Shouldn't this article be updated to reflect the fact that she used to fill in for Nancy Grace since she is no longer on air and hasn't been for months? Luscious868 (talk) 20:36, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 22 November 2017[edit]

Jane herself has asked me to add this to the top of her page:

Jane Velez-Mitchell is the founder and president of JaneUnChained.com, a social media news network for animal rights and the plant-based/cruelty-free lifestyle. Velez-Mitchell has taken her decades of experience in mainstream media and used it to report on animal, environmental and health issues ignored by mainstream media, with a special emphasis on live reporting via Facebook.com/JaneVelezMitchell, where she has a sizable and fast growing fan base. Not done: Ms. Velez-Mitchell does not own this article, and the proposed text is written in a very promotional tone. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:09, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

University claim[edit]

...she stated that she attended New York University.

Strange wording. Does this mean there's some doubt about her qualifications? Valetude (talk) 17:32, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
