Kizzy's name was officialy changed to Kizzy McHugh. See her official website www.kizzy.nl and google. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gazer12 (talkcontribs) 13:06, 6 September 2011 (UTC) Kizzy has briefly performed under another artist name, but officialy changed her name back to Kizzy. On her official website www.Kizzy.nl the last name was deleted and she confirmed this on live radio and tv. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samsonn20133 (talkcontribs) 13:30, 8 December 2013 (UTC) I believe that Kizzy McHugh should go back to Kizzy. She has officcially changed it back and is better known as Kizzy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gazer12 (talkcontribs) 20:00, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Kizzy McHughKizzy – Kizzy has briefly performed under another artist name, but officialy changed her name back to Kizzy. On her official website www.Kizzy.nl the last name was deleted and she confirmed this on live radio and tv. Samsonn20133 (talk) 14:10, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also the primary topic in books is "Kizzy was the daughter of Kunte Kinte (the seminal character in the series) and Belle." in Roots. It probably should be a name article stub given the notability of the naming scene in the TV series. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:25, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Are you opposing because you think it should be at the current title or do you think it should instead be at something like Kizzy (actress) or something else along these lines?--174.93.163.194 (talk) 01:39, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well it shouldn't be at single name according to WP:NCP

Similarly, don't use a first name (even if unambiguous) for an article title if the last name is known and fairly often used. For example, Oprah Winfrey is the article title, and Oprah redirects there. Only if the single name is used as a true artist's name (stage name, pseudonym, etc.) can the recommendations of Nicknames, pen names, stage names, cognomens below be followed.

And WP:COMMONNAME doesn't apply to WP:NCP, Oprah is Oprah's WP:COMMONNAME but we don't use WP:COMMONNAME for mononyms.
In any case the Dutch performer clearly is a million miles from WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. References in Google Books are mainly to the Roots character. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:11, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. As a tv personality and recording artist, she is best known as Kizzy. The name of this page used to be Kizzy and was only changed to Kizzy McHugh for a short moment. I was the one who tried to change the name to Kizzy McHugh at first. But since the news hit, it may be more useful to change it back I guess. Her music is indeed on Amazon.com, Itunes and in all the popular stores, and her new music has come out under the name 'Kizzy'. Without the McHugh. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Quickersand (talkcontribs) 19:28, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Those "Kizzy" albums are by Kizzy Crawford the Welsh Kizzy here.
The Dutch Kizzy is titled "Kizzy McHugh"

  • Support. Kizzy McHugh should go back to Kizzy. Kizzy just out out new music under the name Kizzy (the Dutch singer and actress) and has put out music and TV shows under the name Kizzy since her professional career started about 20 years ago. She has only put out one CD under McHugh (those are those singles om Amazon.com). Kizzy is widely known as Kizzy. And as she stated herself "Noone çould get used to McHugh. It was a bad idea". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gazer12 (talkcontribs) 19:58, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Following creation by BD2412 and expansion by 65.94.78.9, it's evident that there is no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. --Relisted. Red Slash 03:40, 16 December 2013 (UTC) In ictu oculi (talk) 01:59, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There is enough for a name article. Also propose that if the move goes ahead the Name section is moved up, and the People with the name include section is moved down. Cats and WikiProject Anthroponymy tag to be added. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:10, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak support disambiguation. -- 65.94.78.9 (talk) 02:29, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support "Kizzy McHugh" is not clearly the wp:primarytopic (The 'Roots' character could be argued being a better candidate). A dab (without superfluous parenthesis) is the best solution. walk victor falk talk 07:36, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support the disamb page move, and no primary topic. Whether "Kizzy McHugh" is right or not for the present "Kizzy" page is not evident from the article, but seems plausible. Dicklyon (talk) 07:51, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. Per comments in the previous discussion, she no longer seems to use "Kizzy McHugh" as a commonly used stage name. I suggest a disambiguation title like Kizzy (entertainer), similar to Madonna (entertainer), who also has multiple activities. Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:05, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kizzy (disambiguation) lists 9 meanings for the name "Kizzy", and how notable is Kizzy Yuanda Constance Getrouw likely to be long-term among these? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 14:49, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - now that the disambiguation page has been expanded with a substantial number of additional possibilities, it is no longer apparent that any one of them can be the primary topic of this term. bd2412 T 16:05, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
