A Lantern of the Dead in Sarlat-la-Canéda, Dordogne, France. Such small stone towers are found chiefly in the centre and west of France. They are often thought to have indicated cemeteries through lights exhibited at the top of the structures.Photograph: Jebulon

Under the general principle that singular titles are preferred (WP:PLURAL), shouldn't this be moved to Lantern of the Dead over the redirect?--ukexpat (talk) 02:19, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

Sorry for my very bad English ... and perhaps for the bad place of this message ! (I need your response for a new web site about a french monument with such a lantern)

Google speaks either about "lantern of the dead" or "lantern for the dead". I think that the second one is better, the lantern was erected in remembrance for persons who died. Is there somebody to give the good way to me ?
