Date question[edit]

Okay, when exactly does the game take place. Professor Kift's research notes would seem to point to mid to late May 1886. One entry is dated 23, 5, 1886 and it deals with the professor's experiments in re-animating body parts and how Kiya's knowledge of Egyptian enbalming techniquies have helped advance his work. That's two years before the offical site says the game occurs. The introduction in my copy of the game's instructional booklet mentions 'The Autumn of Death' as taking place in 1886 and mentions monsterous creatures coming out of the Great Museum, which is a central feature early in the game and is also scene as having monsters in the title movie of the game. Not to mention it ends mentioning the disappearance of Palethorn as happening here.

Now I would never place May in the fall, although the use of autumn in this case may not refer to the actual season. But to have both an ingame note and the instructions mention 1886 as the year seems entierly counterproductive to what the games offical site claims.

Cheats[edit]

This section was previously removed by Combination at 19:37, 23 October 2006.

The cheats are almost identical to those as within the first game, MediEvil. However, the "Dust To Dust" cheat does not function in this game, most likely as it only opened three simple cheats as compared to the extended cheat.

The new cheat 'MatrixCam' activates when you press the R3 button (click down the right analouge stick). It freezes the picture (pauses the game) but still allows the camera to rotate (use L2, R2 or the right stick), and as the name suggests, in the style of The Matrix (see bullet time). To continue playing press R3 again.

Cheat menu: Hold L2 and press Triangle, Circle, Triangle, Circle, Circle, Triangle,←, Circle,↑,↓,→, Circle, ←,←, Triangle,→, Circle,←,←, Triangle, Circle,↓, Circle, Circle,→. This is sometimes referred to as "To Toot Loud Roll Troll To Door".

Article title[edit]

Shouldn't the title be Medievil 2 instead of Medievil II? --Mika1h 17:26, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bafta Winner?[edit]

On the front cover of the version I have it says "Bafta winner best console game 2000" but there is no mention of that in Wikipedia. Did Medievil 2 realy win any awards?

Repeated amateurish writing[edit]

This article, like its preceeding one, is also in dire need of a complete rewrite. It is full to bursting with unacceptable non-NPOV remarks and other compromising gestures. 21:49, 27 August 2008 (UTC) White Mage Cid

Orphaned references in MediEvil 2[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of MediEvil 2's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 03:04, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
