deleting sourced content, having a conflict of interest, writing advertising, and deleting old names[edit]

I reverted the recent edits. While I have not kept up to date on Public Prep, the recent edits are not generally allowed by Wikipedia. Sourced content may be deleted when it is no longer accurate as determined by new sourcing; therefore, please, first get new sourcing and then edit whatever content no longer applies. An editor who has a conflict of interest, such as someone working for or a student at Public Prep, must declare that conflict before editing, which may require that you create a user account with a username. The language must have the tone appropriate to an encyclopedia and not be in the first person, implying advertising. New content may be added but should be sourced (except for obvious statements, the sky being blue not needing a source). Old names are needed to support searches in Wikipedia by visitors who may know one of Public Prep's old names but not know a new name. Feel free to edit again and to look at the basic policies and guidelines of Wikipedia. Nick Levinson (talk) 15:37, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

apparent conflict of interest[edit]

This year's edits have come largely from two IP addresses that are both almost single-purpose acounts and a usernamed editor who appears to have a conflict of interest and is a single-purpose account. The COI was raised on the latter editor's talk page but the editor has not replied there and subsequent edits have mostly been by an IP aditor again. Four sentences that are not quotations are written in the first person plural voice. Roughly half of the sections lack any sourcing. Some of the writing appears somewhat promotional in tone but I have not tagged that pending production of sourcing, in case the article's wording is supported by sourcing, but otherwise there will be a need for some rephrasing (or deletion of promotional content altogether if unsourced). • Nick Levinson, I did just a tiny but of pruning. When you run into such blatantly promotional article, don't be afraid to start chopping. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 17:25, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
