Still Alive?[edit]

Is Roy Clark still alive?

Yes, according to his official website.

Yes, Mr. Clark is still alive and tours and is on the Grand Ole Opry all the time. Alakey2010 May 05, 2006 9:36 PM.

Signature tune[edit]

Does Roy have a particular melody or song that could be considered his signature tune? I'm thinking specifically of Malagueña [1] [2], but there may be another. — Loadmaster (talk) 02:24, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

I would say Thank God and Greyhound. I looked at chart toppers, his only Country number 1 is Come Live with Me. I checked bios and fan sites and there does not seem to be a signature song.Tomsv 98 (talk) 19:20, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Best Known Guitar Song[edit]

I added his spouse to the article, for some reason I can't get it in the infobox.Tomsv 98 (talk) 19:42, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Philanthropy[edit]

I once read (I think on Wikipedia) that Roy Clark gave HUGE amounts of his income to children's hospitals. I have no citations, but if it IS true, it would be nice to see him recognized. I am pretty sure it was once in this article (maybe three years ago). If anyone knows or has a citation, can you contribute? I am very curious about this VERY talented man. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.246.235.134 (talk) 04:18, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
