Willy on Wheels[edit]

There should be an article on Willy on Wheels. The most famous wikipedia editor ever. Ironically a title that every wiki admin strives for lol. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.72.70.171 (talk) 00:39, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia used to have articles on its vandals in order for the Admins to familiarize themselves with vandals and their tactics. Who knows why it changed?69.243.42.251 (talk) 21:55, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Where is Wheely Willy? (Not the vandal)[edit]

Willy's probably passed on.--Edtropolis 20:34, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chihuahuas can live up to 18 years so he could still be around 74.229.215.99 03:57, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There's a calender of events on his website that shows he was an honoree at a celebration of the 17th anniversary of the ADA just yesterday. -- The_socialist talk? 10:51, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Free pictures[edit]

I've updated the images so they are in line with policies. Even though they do nicely show the helium balloons and the K9-cart, they are probably replaceable with various freely-licensed images as the above discussion indicates that Willy is still alive. However, as that discussion also notes, he is quite old now, so, no offence intended, if we want a freely-licensed picture, we should try and get one pretty quickly, otherwise the book covers (or a publicity photo) will be all we will ever be able to use, unless someone wants to write to the owner and ask for freely-licensed pictures. It is possible that no pictures exist of the helium balloon incidents, and that was the first book, so that book cover picture may be justifiable. The other one can probably be replaced by a free picture of Willy with his K9-cart. If this is disputed, pleas take to WP:IfD, rather than restoring the tags. Thanks. Willy's Death[edit]

Read in the Long Beach Press-Telegram today that Willy died. Updated the page, but since I'm inexperienced it looked pretty bad. The article also listed his age as 22, but I'm not sure that part is correct, so I didn't change it in the article. Can anyone clean up my mess? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Posikyle (talkcontribs) 22:44, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the link to the memorial service article: Farewell to Wheely Willy - Press-Telegram. Hope that helps at least confirm his death.LiPollis (talk) 04:37, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

MAJOR VANDALISM[edit]

Look I suck at this Wiki thing but I spotted major vandalism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disputation_of_Paris_on_Round_Things

That should be "Disputation of Paris," which now redirects to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheely_Willy.

Disputation of Paris is an "on this day" entry.

This is clear vandalism (probably having to do with the subject matter being Jewish, but I'm just guessing). Jersey John (talk) 04:09, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Did I fix it?[edit]

I think I fixed it. Can someone please check my work? Jersey John (talk) 04:13, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes and no. The Disputation link is fixed but another link from today's "Did You Know" (the Sniper Paradise 4 one) now goes to the wheelchair dog. 75.175.15.93 (talk) 04:18, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
