I'm going to jump on the train of voter guides this year. This could turn out to be interesting. I have no measuring stick when looking at a candidate but look at them as a whole. Edit counts come from X!'s tool at the time of the creation of their entire into this. I did use NuclearWarfare's table structure so all credit goes to him. A,CU,OS,Arb 16,557 2003-05-27 Like Sven I think that Coren has lost his connection to the wider community. His last 20 main space edits go back to October of 2010. While I understand that not everyone is an article writer, we need more people in the dispute resolution process that work in the article space.

A,CU,OS,Arb 70,452 2005-06-08 Kirill knows what he is doing. As the longest serving arb he has a tremendous amount of experience with drafting cases and dealing with people. He is active on the case pages, something that is always needed.

A,CU,OS,AUSC 30,545 2006-02-27 His statement seems unenthusiastic. I'm slightly worried about him burning out. His actions have rubbed me the wrong way more then once. I will go middle of the road unless anything pushes me one way or another.

A 28,729 2004-03-30 Seems like a drama magnet due to the arbcom case that jimbo filed. His sock drawer is far to big for comfort. Why does anyone need that many accounts? Also this editwar today does not bring on trust. I think I must oppose for now.

A,Crat,CU,ExArb 33,257 2006-12-21 Knowing my RA, I do not doubt that uni, arbcom and being a RA would be a nightmare. The fact that he was wise enough to step down when he was overwhelmed, is a good sign. Reading over the answers to the questions, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Looking over his edits, 20 mainspace edits ago reach back to July. Compared to others running, this appears to be fairly good.

A,CU,OS,AUSC 206,058 2006-09-19 I like Courcelles. He is extremely easy to work with. My interactions with him on irc, when I was active there, were positive. With over 50% of his edits in the mainspace, he is a dedicated content worker. I think he is a good choice.

A,CU,OS,Arb 18,805 2005-12-27 Risker is fair and she provides some counterbalance to the committee. While I do not agree with her on many things, such as during the Racepacket case, I think that she is currently doing a whole lot of good as an arbcom member. I do wish that she would draft a case during her next term if she wins a seat. I am going to weakly support her.

None 831 2011-04-11 It is doubtful xe could pass a RFA right now. Xe's edit count is extremely low, the most edits to a single article they have is 28 and they seem to have a knack for debating on the ITN page but not doing to the writing work in the trenches. In addition, they have minimal experience working with any of dispute resolution venues.

A,CU,OS,Arb 32,236 2006-08-24 The abortion case took far too long to move from Workshop to Voting. Small delays are a fact of life but month long delays are unnecessary. As the drafting arb he is unfortunately taking the fall for this.

A 8,978 2008-07-13 The TreasuryTag situation makes me blink. Part of Arbcom's duties is to be the final appeal body for bans. While its good to bring people back into the fold, sufficient time needs to past for a block or ban to mean something.

None 4,289 2006-02-11 This candidate shoots up an excessive number of red flags.
  • Their user page is extreamly myspacey
    • It claims they are the author of 20 FAs. I have been searching their contributions and can't find one of the 20 articles. Their name does not appear at Wikipedia:WBFAN
    • They have blatant STICK issues per their userbox about this dif of an ANI thread they started
  • The candidate seems to think that the removal of his fake new message bars, in line with what I perceive as a community standard, is "harassment."
  • They haven't been active for some time. The consensus on some issues has changed.
  • The admin abuse meme gets vexing after a while. There are some bad admins, we all know that, but that's only one of many issues that arbcom faces. De-sysoping shouldn't be a standard remedy like the candidate seems to indicate
