Headings

Hello. I've noticed that on some of your articles you have used the first-level headings (i.e. =Heading=). The Wikipedia style is to use second-level headings (using ==) for stuff like External links and See also. Thanks! —Wereon 16:13, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)

I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

Hi, accessing that site activated my antivirus (MacAfee OAS with latest update). The message was "Attempted trojan attack" or words to that effect. It looks like the site has not been updated for some time, it may have been compromised without the owners knowledge. I can check again if you like, and give you the exact wordingBenvenuto (talk) 06:01, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

One possibility is that the anti-virus software was giving a false positive, which does happen sometimes. I am running AVG, and visited the site without any ill effects or messages. Joshua Shaw reference

Hi. I noticed on the percussion cap page that you seem to have been the one who made the claim that Joshua Shaw's priority in the development of the percussion cap is dubious, but you don't seem to have provided any references. Its in "Early percussion Firearms" by Lewis Winant. Its an old source but as far as books go its pretty much a magnum opus on this subject. I have have not kept up with the latest research in scholarly arms journals so I don't know what the current consensus is.
