Random bolding[edit]

For heaven's sake, you must look at articles on Wikipedia sometimes. Do they have random words bolded in the middle of sentences? No, they don't. See MOS:BOLDFACE for the few situations where boldface is ok. Not to mention your other bizarre formatting quirks. Don't be surprised if messy text like this is just reverted. Hopefully I am doing this right... you make me nervous... I have now read the BOLDFACE guidelines and propose to respect them in future and correct them where I have deviated in the past. I have also read the TALK PAGE guidelines which say "The talk page associated with an article is named "Talk:Example", where "Example" is the name of the article." But I don't see from your talk page which article(s) of mine contained the offensive BOLDFACE. Please advise.

Returned to find johnbod could stand the mess no longer and has done all the formatting corrections for me, and other improvements. Thank you. Re the long stretches with no references, this is not my work, but you are right as usual, references are needed. New subject... The 'majolica' word confusion was and is compounded by at least six published authors not making clear distinction between Minton's products 'Palissy ware' and 'Majolica'. Am I allowed to cite excerpts from a privately published (Majolica Society Quarterly mag) article? I'm guessing not. Davidmadelena (talk) 09:31, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
