Dating wars

Your edits at Chinese Civil War

It was explicitly explained to you ([1]) that the inclusion of date in the lead paragraph is misleading, as the war was interrupted in between, and the date gives a false impression of continuity. The actual date information are already covered in the Infobox. You would need to discuss your edits at Talk:Chinese Civil War before reverting again. Boxer Rebellion

I have undone your recent additions to the lead section of Boxer Rebellion. The lead is meant both as an introduction to the topic and a summary of the article. Normally new content is not added to it but to the article body, properly sourced. The lead is already long enough and your additions made it much too long, as well as being misplaced.

Again, please use edit summaries with all of your edits. They help other editors understand your edits which is useful in many ways. Without them you are more likely to find your edits are removed, because they make no sense and no reason was given for them.--JohnBlackburne^words_deeds 20:33, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

Wikipedia and copyright

Hello Karim Manouar, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Karen people have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

• You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. Edit warring

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mao Zedong. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
