License tagging for Image:HORNAK0035.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HORNAK0035.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:05, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Possibly unfree Image:HORNAKPHOTO0001-small.jpg[edit]

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:HORNAKPHOTO0001-small.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 20:25, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Fischbach Gallery, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9502E0DA1E38F933A15755C0A9659C8B63&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 04:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Contemporary artists[edit]

Hi Sla, I have reverted some of your additions of particular artists to broad-scope articles on painting, because of the appearance that you may be singling out specific favorites, possibly artists whose entries you have created or added to, without a rationale for their special prominence. This is not to argue their notability, rather whether they are the best or most widely acknowledged examples for an encyclopedic entry on these genres. With appreciation for your efforts, JNW (talk) 05:02, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lowell Nesbitt[edit]

Hi Salenterprises, I've raised something on the talk page of this article and as you're the author (I guess), would appreciate it if you could comment. Thanks, Julia Rossi (talk) 09:48, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:HORNAK0035.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:HORNAK0035.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Radiant chains (talk) 09:16, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
