Assessment of BahnCard article

Thanks for assessing the BahnCard article. I was wondering why you assessed it as "low-importance". A railcard owned by 4 million passengers and offered by Deutsche Bahn (itself rated "high-importance"), the biggest railway company in Europe [1] is surely not unimportant, I'd say. The Bahncard is highly notable in Germany. Most Germans have at least heard of it and it was often a topic of political debate. For comparison, the article Young Persons Railcard is rated as "mid importance" and this is a smaller scheme than the BahnCard. Likewise the Oyster card (mid-importance) is used by fewer passengers than the BahnCard. Would you mind if I changed the status to "mid importance"? --Cambrasa confab 21:14, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 02:45, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Re: Question about Line guide in Noarlunga Centre railway line, Adelaide

The word leer is in the Line Guide Template. Kathleen.wright5 13:12, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm still not seeing it. Using my browser to search for that word comes up with zero results. Thinking of a couple possibilities, it might be a result of your specific screen resolution (I'm using very wide screens) where words overlap. Does your browser's address bar include anything like "use-lang" or "language" in it? A screenshot would be helpful in troubleshooting the problem. Slambo (Speak) 14:22, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Maybe you're not seeing it because you're using Internet Explorer, I'm using Firefox and I don't know to link a screenshot to this page. Kathleen.wright5 15:03, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
It's been fixed on the above article, but its still on some of the articles in Category:Railway lines in South Australia that have the Line Guide Template. Kathleen.wright5 15:12, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Infobox creation

Hi, I've tried to create an infobox for use on windmill articles but it won't display properly. I've posted details on the talk page of WP:INFOBOX linking to what I've done so far. Could you take a look and see if you can fix it please? I've got details of parameters required in my sandbox. Mjroots (talk) 08:29, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about the edit.

Sorry about the edit...I realized the reference did not work, that is why I deleted it. At your request, I am adding the sources of my information.75.33.40.110 (talk) 13:37, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

What exactly does Romanization of Ukrainian have to do with a project covering rail transport? Simply south (talk) 10:01, 14 May 2008 (UTC) :p

Doh! Slambo (Speak) 10:53, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
I just realised in the one below that, whilst not as funny, i took the portal of the page to the trams one so !!!!!!!!!!

Any reason why 1,672 mm, 1,668 mm and 1,664 mm (5 ft 5⅞ in, 5 ft 55⁄6 in and 5 ft 5½ in) were not included in the templates? See List of rail gauges#Broad gauge railways, by gauge and country and Iberian rail gauges. Peter Horn 00:38, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

The template was originally built to consolidate all the templates from the gauge template category. The omission of these three from the new template is likely because they weren't templated yet. We can add these three fairly quickly. Slambo (Speak) 10:51, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello again. The Highly Active Users project has gone through a complete revamping per popular demand. We believe this new format will make it easier for new editors to find assistance. However, with the new format, I must again ask you to verify your information on this page. I attempted to translate the data from the old version to the new, but with the extensive changes, I may have made some errors. Thanks again. Useight (talk) 04:09, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Igor 0.2.0

The new version of Igor is out, and it has some support for task-forces. At the moment, it only supports fixed banner template parameters (of the sort "my-task-force=yes"), but it will have variable value support in a near-future release. Hope this helps! – ClockworkSoul 04:30, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

This article states "Seaholme station originally opened on Monday, 26 January 1920". Why the use of the word "originally"? Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 10:36, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Slambo,

You are fast! Less than 30 min. after the TWP tag, it was already assessed. Anyway, since then I've done another major expansion of the article (and added a map). JGHowes talk - 02:35, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
