A tag has been placed on Kabal (rapper/producer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Kabal (rapper/producer), to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. You've made two attempts to create the article but have not demonstrated the significance of the rapper. Please explain how he is significant on this talk page and provide independent reliable sources to back that claim up. We'll be glad to assist you with the article if you do that. —C.Fred (talk) 03:16, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Kabalrocks.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kabalrocks.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:59, 13 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Closedmouth (talk) 12:59, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Kabalrocks.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Kabalrocks.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 18:49, 30 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 18:49, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why my page us up for deletion for apparently being "fake content" when it's not?

Hi, I think I can help you understand this. It appears that you have at least twice tried (circa 2010) to create an article at Wikipedia about "Kabal (rapper/producer)". Those were deleted, because you did not properly establish the notability of the subject. It also appears that you have created a similar article in your userspace here, beginning in 2010, and with periodic changes over the years. This likely appears to the community as an attempt to circumvent our notability criteria. Wikipedia is not a web host, and it is not a social media platform. The community doesn't allow articles, or autobiographies to be indefinitely stored on user pages, nor does the community like it when editors attempt to pass off content on a user page as an actual Wikipedia article, which your user page seems to do. Also, looking through your edit history, I can't find a single edit anywhere at Wikipedia that doesn't seem to relate to you. A heads-up that you may ultimately find your account indefinitely blocked, since it seems like you are only here to self promote, not to build an encyclopedia for the people. Though that may be a bitter pill, I hope it at least helps to explain what's going on. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:53, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Adding to what Cyphoidbomb said, to show that this is not a personal matter but is covered by WIkipedia's rules and guidelines:
  • WP:NOTWEBHOST: "Wikipedians have their own user pages, but they should be used primarily to present information relevant to working on the encyclopedia. Limited biographical information is allowed, but user pages should not function as personal webpages or be repositories for large amounts of material that is irrelevant to collaborating on Wikipedia. If you are looking to make a personal webpage or blog or to post your résumé, please make use of one of the many free providers on the Internet or any hosting included with your Internet account."

Blocked[edit]

Therealkabal, the entirety of your contributions to Wikipedia, over more than four years, has been to repeatedly add the same promotional content. As you've been told repeatedly, Wikipedia isn't a suitable place for you to advertise, nor is it a free web hosting platform. Today, yet again, you've ignored this, and you've created the same content at user:Therealkabal. You've given no indication that you're interesting in contributing to Wikipedia in general, and more than enough time and effort has been expended in trying to persuade you to use Wikipedia properly - evidently to no avail. So I've blocked your account. -- Finlay McWalterTalk 14:33, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
