Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( in the enhanced toolbar, or if you use the old "classic" toolbar) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:29, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What to do?[edit]

I see you asking on Talk:Queensland on what to do. Well, it somewhat depends on what you are interested in. Some people like to write about sport, others about politics, or history, or whatever interests them. A good place for many people to get started is with the articles about their own suburb or town or about something they understand well. For example, many suburb articles have information about the local schools. If you look at Acacia Ridge, Queensland, you will see some information about schools, when they opened, what years are taught there, etc. However, in some articles, e.g. Annerley, Queensland, you can see they say a lot more about each school, such as its street address and the number of students and teachers. It is easy to find information on any Queensland state school as the school's website has a link (usually from its home page) to the latest annual report. This is a good source to use to add information about the school (how many students, how many teachers, etc) into the Wikipedia suburb article. Why not look at the suburbs in your area, and see if you can improve them with more information about the schools that are there? If you need help, just ask me. F. Rutledge Hammes moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, F. Rutledge Hammes, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 17:51, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:F. Rutledge Hammes[edit]

Hello, ThunderHenry. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "F. Rutledge Hammes".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 15:15, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
