Request reason:

This account was created even before this identity was created. For example, Ericsson was a guy and it turned out to become the largest Telecom service provider. I stand a fair chance to use my nick to start a company. The whole group of people I belong to call me with my nick name. I think it is unjust to have me blocked. Decline reason:

There's a couple of problems here. In your promotional sandbox article about a company called Titantwister, you described it as a "digital agency established since 14th Aug 2009", which is three years before you created this user account. But even without that, you are clearly writing about a company with the same name as you (and with which I presume you have some sort of association - your both having the same name purely by coincidence would seem unlikely). So yes, I'm sorry, but you're going to have to change your username, and also:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

Thanks Zebedee, I understand to change my user ID to my original name Zorays Khalid but I have a conflict with another of my registered businesses due to SEO considerations. And I intend to be an influencer with my name page inn near future and not a user instead. Please help me make the username change. As for as the contributions are required I will be interested to support causes on Wikipedia. Thanks

Thank you for giving me a chance to adopt to the forum protocols. I admit my response had not been up to the mark.

I have an Electronic Engineering degree (including one high applied factor research paper [1] and 3 international conference papers with high impact factor in the field of Power Electronics). I intend to cite relevant sources for information displayed on Wikipedia with reference to existing Wikipedia page sources. I am also interested in highlighting the business aspects of Power Electronic products around the regional scope including relevant market share, market size, brand and channel strategies of different Original Equipment Manufacturing enterprises I get to review as Product Manager at Haier[2], Pakistan.

I am interested in studying the Entrepreneurship canvas across Pakistan for which I attend various conferences. I wish to incorporate highly authentic data coming from first industry leaders.

Initially, I had a concern of whether or not to apply my bibliography if it remotely affected my current startups. Remembering that both my businesses are evolving with my name (Zorays SMC-PRIVATE LTD) and my nick name (Titantwister, an entity of Zorays SMC-PRIVATE LTD), I have considered all legal implications these may encounter in near future. As advised by the corporate attorney of law, I am sure that equivocally I can adopt my Wikipedia name without deviating much from my business goals as guarded by the legal company name under Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan. I am obliged by the rules and regulations of the forum and thereby declare with evidence of the initial post (a Corporate Social Responsibility project, Project Arfa[3]) that there is no intent of marketing in any respect while I intend to use this forum for advocacy of Entrepreneurship and Technology only.

I feel that you are creating difficulties where none exist. We do not care what name you adopt, and as far as Wikipedia is concerned the opinion of any and all legal experts is wholly irrelevant. You may not adopt a username which is, or which appears to be, promotional. That's it. I do not understand what legal implications you foresee, but with the single exception already mentioned of avoiding promotional usernames there are none as far as Wikipedia is concerned. If your selection of a username impinges on one of your businesses that does not concern Wikipedia, except for the single condition I have mentioned. You have failed to explain, after repeated requests, what you mean when you say that you intend to be "an influencer with your name page". Please do so. Also please note that your bibliography is not relevant here. Request reason:

Initially I was failing to assume that my nick name could not be my user name while I joined Wikipedia five years ago and today if any virtual community exists in my nickname is disruptive to community guidelines. Here, I do not intend to use this space as a freehosting platform, not at all. Factually, I just like to be addressed by my nickname among my friends. It, sadly, satisfies my ego, does. Yes, it may be suggestive because I have been transparent in my reasoning about my individuality and abitiousness. I humbly put forward my case to get an excuse from indefinite ban. I am learning and learning is a continuous process. Meanwhile, I am eager to remove backlog of Wikipedia where genuine citations are needed.

I'm not sure why you are finding this so difficult to understand. No, we will not allow that username. You will not be unblocked unless you pick a different username.
