Speedy deletion nomination of BBSU[edit]

Hello Ujjal12,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged BBSU for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks,  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:42, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Bangladeshi Buddhist Student’s Union"[edit]

A page you created, Bangladeshi Buddhist Student’s Union, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for companies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Mdann52 (talk) 16:50, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Bangladeshi Buddhist Student’s Union. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willing to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 16:52, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, Two points:

  1. We don't include the abbreviation in the title of an article, only the exact name of the college, so this article should have been at International Buddhist College
  2. ... except that there is already a substantial article at that title, about this same college!

Please check carefully before you create an article, to be sure that you are not about to make a duplicate article. Thanks. There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it is an interesting journey! Happy editing. PamD 17:26, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bangladeshi Buddhist Students Union[edit]

Bangladeshi Buddhist Students Union, acronym BBSU, is an student organization founded by Bangladeshi Buddhist Students based in Sri Lanka.Bangladeshi Students from different other countries too are members of BBSU.

Hello Ujjal12. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Bangladeshi Buddhist Student’s Union - BBSU".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bangladeshi Buddhist Student’s Union - BBSU}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. (tJosve05a (c) 13:21, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
