Splitting articles again
When splitting articles, as you did to The Odd Couple (2015 TV series), it is a legal requirement that attribution be provided at both the source and destination articles, something I explained to you last year above. You did not do this so could you please do so now. For more information please see WP:CWW. Your split also left the main article with 3 missing references. A bot has fix two but 1 is still missing. When you are fixing the attribution problem, please take the time to fix that as well. --<span style="color:#008751;">Aussie</span><span style="color:#fcd116;">Legend</span> (<big>✉</big>) 16:47, 17 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I would like to inform you that the Articles for Creation submission which was previously located here: User:Brianis19/Parks and Recreation (season 5) has been moved to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Parks and Recreation (season 5), this move was made automatically and doesn't affect your article. Your draft is waiting for a review by an experienced editor, if you have any questions please ask on our Help Desk! Have a nice day. ArticlesForCreationBot (talk) 05:55, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Farine. I noticed that you recently removed some content from 2012–13 United States network television schedule without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Farine (talk) 05:43, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Farine (talk) 15:09, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission Parks and Recreation (season 5)

Hello Brianis19. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Parks and Recreation (season 5).

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc or db-g13 code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: , paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Beerest355 Talk 13:48, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in America's Got Talent, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Musdan77 (talk) 01:30, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

List of Snooki & Jwoww episodes

Hi. Thanks for adding material to the List of Snooki & Jwoww episodes article. However, in the course of your edit, you also removed a citation that was already in the article. The new citation you added does not include any mention of the April 25 date on which the third season was first announced, so there was no reason to remove that citation.

In addition, that earlier source was cited twice in the article. By removing the first citation of it, which included all the publication info, you created a citation error in the References section of the article, which you can see here. Sources that are cited more than once in the article use the ref name citation tag, so if you see a citation with a ref name tag, such as the one you removed, it means that it's being used multiple times in the article, and removing the first citation of it, which is usually the one that contains the full publication info, will result in such an error. Similarly, you can learn how to use the ref name tag here, so that you don't have to write out the url of the new source you're citing. It would also be appreciated if you include the rest of the publication info, at least in your first citation of that source, such as author, date, name of publication, etc.

Also, please understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and should be written with care taken in adhering to basic principles of writing. Phrases like "for a 12 episodes" are not appropriate.

Lastly, a minor point, but spaces do not go in front of citations, as indicated by WP:PAIC.

If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 16:49, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

October 2013

Hello Brianis19, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to The Crazy Ones has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

 • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
 • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
 • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
 • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
 • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Snooki, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hey Mama (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Request reason:

I first want to apologize to all the users for all of the copyright material I put on. The only thing is that no one rights a summary or fixes it that is one reason I did it. So I'm sorry about that. Another thing is that yes I have another account too because I did not know how to fix the problem and I was scared. So if wanna take the time to review my case just do so but I understand why you blocked me and all the copyrighting violations will stop and will right them myself.

Decline reason:

Firstly, I can see a large number of warnings on this page regarding copyright violations, and I would like to know why you ignored them. Secondly, it is not down to us to correct your mistakes, it is down to you not to make them. Please explain your understanding of copyright policy, and say how your editing would change if you were unblocked. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 11:51, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I understand why the copyright infringement is implied because it's like stealing information and should not be copied in any way. And should only right the summaries in our own word. And yes I've seen these meassages and really understood them until now. So I apologize for the vandalism and will not happen again

Decline reason:

The above appeal gives me no confidence whatsoever that you have understood - or indeed, even read - Wikipedia's copyright policy. Until you are able to convince an administrator that you understand and will abide by this policy, you will not be unblocked. Yunshui  08:24, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I'm back because I think that this block is no longer necessary or disruptive because over the past few months I have learning more about Wikipedia's copyright policy and why copy right violations are bad thing because its stealing other publishers work and it's the copywriters property, and it's Wikipedia's most important aspects for things not to be redistributed. Also I am deeply sorry for what I did in the past, I regret all the violations I did, and I've learned a lot as an editor. Brianis19 (talk) 21:11, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The specific things I have learned is that you never copy and paste copyrighted content like plot summaries to specific episodes of a show, also vandalism should NEVER be done at anytime. All announced content should have it specific source of information on where at came I have come to realize how important copyrighted is important to the author and should never be exploited in anyway shape or form.

Decline reason:

Part of the problem in the past has been your attitude to copyright problems that you have caused. For example, this response was unacceptable. Given that your unblock request doesn't address this problem, I'm declining your request. PhilKnight (talk) 15:35, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm more patient, I will source the content, and my Block I think is no longer needed because I've read the copyright policy many times since the block and I think I'm no longer a threat and I have never hacked any website either. Please note that, per WP:TVCAST "main" cast status is determined by the series producers, not by popularity or screen time. Actors who are credited on-screen in the opening credits of TV series are considered to be main cast, regardless of how many episodes they have been credited in. Please also note that, per the instructions for Infobox television, cast are listed in original credit order followed by order in which new cast joined the show. Joe Minoso was credited before Christian Stolte and therefore should be listed before him. --AussieLegend () 03:56, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklist Season 3

Hi Brianis19! I just wanted to let you know that first of all, I am all for having a Season 3 page for The Blacklist, but if you're going to create the page, you need to add some new information to it. Other editors will probably tell you that there is nothing on the page so far that can't be found elsewhere on Wikipedia. There is plenty of articles out there on season 3 casting and production. When you look at the Scandal (season 5) page and the Empire (season 2) pages, you will see that there is A LOT of new info about recurring cast members, and guests, as well as information about production. I appreciate your efforts making the page, but could you please expand it just a bit?? Thank you! Rswallis10 (talk) 01:10, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hawaii Five-0 (season 6), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grace Park (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ratings tables

Just over a week ago you added a ratings table to Scorpion (TV series) that failed to comply with several aspects of the MOS had other, non-MOS issues.[1] I notice that today you've added a similar table to The Last Man on Earth (TV series).[2] Please don't continue to use this code. It does not comply with MOS:ACCESS/MOS:DTT, MOS:BOLD and MOS:HASH, and contains deprecated and unnecessary code. I've corrected the code in both articles,[3][4] so you can use that as a template, but the other code is really unnaceptable. I'm aware that it's used in several articles, but it really needs to be fixed in all of them. --AussieLegend () 13:53, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Television episodes

Please be careful when incrementing the number of aired episodes for a series, and make that they are either currently airing or already aired. For example, Castle airs at 10/9c - it is currently 8.20pm EST, meaning you updated it almost two hours early, which leads to factually incorrect articles. Thank you. Bumping this. Please educate yourself on what time episodes air, and then update them, else this can be viewed as disruptive editing. Alex|The|Whovian? 01:12, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Same case (again) with Blindspot (TV series). Please confirm that you're actually reading this and taking note. Well, either that, or you simply don't care? Alex|The|Whovian? 02:28, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize I wasn't thinking. Brianis19

--AussieLegend () 16:47, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
