The following is a list of notable computer system manufacturers.

Aberdeen [1] – Systems and servers.
ABS Computer Technologies [2] – Owned by Newegg, a popular online parts store.
Acer [3] - Third largest computer manufacturer in the world. [4]

Gateway [5] - Presently a brand name of Acer after being acquired in 2007. Largely known for the cow patterned boxes.

eMachines [6] - Presently a brand name of Gateway/Acer after being acquired in 2004.

Packard Bell [7] - Acer acquired 75% of it's parent company, PB Holdings in 2008. [8]

Apple [9] - Sixth largest computer manufacturer in the world. [10] Desktop, notebook, mobile devices.
Asus [11] - Largely known for main-boards and parts, also builds notebooks.
AVADirect [12] - Custom builder of desktops, gaming systems, servers, and laptops.
