Your Username.

Your username violates policy WP:USERNAME, unfortunately. Usernames that match the name of a company or group, especially if the user promotes it. is a part of our policy, and Linux is a trademarked name. Well since Redirects Are Cheap, I felt it was a better idea than having the page deleted as patent nonsense, as which it was incorrectly tagged. Alternative names should redirect to the original target, even if they are hard to remember, and when dealing with these situations they're useful in that they direct new users towards existing articles to edit rather than creating new ones which aren't necessary. - Zeibura ^(Talk) 10:35, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I wasn't vandalizing this page. The portion I deleted was in reference to his unsure future on the show. It has now been confirmed that he is returning, so there is no use for that section.

I didn't realize editing something was considered vandal. Perhaps I should just stop contributing all together? Would that suit you? Looks that way, although I don't see the history of an edit war. It is curious. I'm not terribly inclined to assume good faith when several other edits are clear vandalism. I don't follow. AFAICT the user removed an entire infobox; the only change was that single continuous removal. I'm not assuming bad faith here, but I also don't see any indication that this destructive edit was an attempt to fix anything. I always assume that where a vandal edits as 124.171.130.84 (contributions) did here that the next edit by 64.9.92.162 was a good faith attempt by the IP to fix what was by then a broken infobox. I'm charged with making the reservations for us, so let's make it official. We'll do this via voting and everyone including anonymous voters, sockpuppets, and canvassed supporters is enfranchised. I got it in '96 when I got myself an ISDN line. 144/156 kbs of digital goodness at a time most connections were 28.8 kbs, and it increased to 288/312 kbs when they introduced compression. Dirty Magazine- Malcolm in the Middle

you have been to this page. It perplexes me what the Principle truly said as to referrencing what the story 'Car Crash' said. In the article it is censored (although I figured Wikipedia was uncensored) but it does read "J*** my d****". Jack my dick? but the 3rd word has 4 asteriks, so I truly have no clue what is being written. It could be a typo, but Jack doesnt seem like aword to be censored. Wikipedia is in fact not censored and I think I remember seeing something like that but leaving it because I thought it might have just been following some precedent from the show. (e.g. if the phrase appeared in print on screen in the show in that form; in fact I see that is exactly the case, quoting the article: Principle Block however demands that the story is pornographic because it contains the words j*** my d**** (the words themselves are censored).) If I recall correctly my recent changes to Malcolm in the Middle related articles all focused on wikifying content, making it conform better to the WP:MOS, adding categories and templates, and other maintenance tasks. I don't think I've ever seen a whole episode of the show so I won't be too much help with substantive issues regarding articles about it.

Do you disagree with my interpretation? Do you believe the sentence I quoted from the article is inaccurate? Jeremyb (talk) 02:33, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
