Computacenter plc is the parent company of a group of European companies engaged in the supply, implementation, support and management of information technology systems[1]. Despite the spelling of the word "center", it is a UK company based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Its main competitors are SCC and Morse Group.

Founded in 1981 by Philip Hulme and Peter Ogden, Computacenter grew rapidly during the 1980s and is one of Britain's largest IT companies, with 2007 revenues of 2.38 billion pounds and a position in the FTSE techMARK 100 share index.

Computacenter was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1998.[2]
