Kingshott School is an Independent preparatory school in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England. The current headmaster is Mr Iain Gilmour, and the school currently has 365 pupils aged three to thirteen. In each of the middle and senior parts of the school there are two classes each consisting of between 15 and 22 pupils. Kingshott School Trust Ltd is a registered company with a charitable status. The school is set on an 18 acre site which contains a swimming pool, astro turf pitch and tennis courts. The major sports are football, rugby and cricket.

Fees

The current fees range from £2745 to £3348 per term, dependent on age.[3]

Named after Robert Falcon Scott, the polar explorer.

Drake

Named after Sir Francis Drake.

Nelson

Named after Horatio Nelson the British admiral.

Pitt

Named after William Pitt, the British prime minister.

Lessons Taught

At Kingshott, Latin, Maths, Science, French, English, RS, Design Technology, Art, History, Geography and Food Technology are taught in the classroom. Games and PE are also taught by staff. There are many optional other subjects taught, including Greek and Spanish.
