Air Jordan Retro III “Black Cats” are Nike Air Jordan shoes originally released in 1989 throughout America and the world. On June 16, 2007, Jordan Brand plans to release retro versions of the Jordan Retro III in different colors. The “Black Cats” version of this shoe is in all black with a nubuck and patent leather upper while featuring the traditional cement elephant print. This color is unique to the Air Jordan III collection, as these were the first ones to be all black. The Air Jordan III’s were originally made in 1989, and was released with retro version in 1994, 2001, and 2003; the Jordan Retro III shoes were sold out instantly at each release date. The “Black Cats” will be a general release, meaning they should be found in most common shoe retailers such as Footlocker, ShoePalace, and Shiekhs. The retail price is $135, not including tax; however, should the buyer decide not to purchase these shoes on time, these shoes can be found on eBay days after its release date for nearly double the price.
