The discography of American pop group Backstreet Boys consists of eight studio albums, 24 singles, three compilation albums and 11 video albums. The band consists of A.J. Mclean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and Nick Carter. Former member Kevin Richardson left the group in 2006.
They rose to international fame in 1996 with their debut album, Backstreet Boys. The following year, they released their debut album in the United States and their second international album, Backstreet's Back. In 1999, they released their most successful album to date, Millennium. It was also their first album to be released both in the United States and overseas. The follow-up album, Black & Blue, was released in 2000 and continued to enjoy success. After the release of their greatest hits album, they went into a three-year hiatus. They re-grouped in 2003 and have since changed their musical style, releasing three albums, Never Gone, Unbreakable and This Is Us.
They have won two American Music Awards,[1][2] four MTV Europe Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards[3] and four World Music Awards including five categories in 1998, one category in 1999, four categories in 2000 and two categories in 2001.[4][5][6][7]
